Question: What do you think about the new law that says you can't drive with a hand-held cellphone?
Explanation: The California Highway Patrol is enforcing the new law that starts today that says you can't talk on a hand-held cell phone while driving. People under 18 can't talk on ANY kind of cell phone while driving.

I am a bit confused. What does under 18 have to do with it. They passed that law in Chicago last year I think, or early this year. I wonder if it helps. Talking to the dashboard while driving or talking to a wire hanging from your ear seems as distracting to me as holding something.
It is the peole calling someone that expect the cell phone person to answer everytime that call. Just because you have a cell phone does not mean you have to be at everyone's beckoning call.
Although I do enjoy phone conversation during long distances and the traffic is light, I started telling people that I need to pull over if I feel distracted. I usually use mine only for business, so I kinda have to be attentive to the ring those few weeks of every month, if I miss a call, I very well might miss making their appointment with me.
omg, did anyone actually give a crap about what I just wrote...yeesh, sorry.
Good survey, I wonder why it is in the trash? | Melf

Deleted by creator. It was only in there for five hours.
Mobile phones have been banned while driving over here for a couple of years now. There are still deaths caused by it (though not as often as there used to be, at all), but I think that the people who cause them should be made bigger examples of. | they
