I was going through my unanswered surveys and happened upon this one. After I submitted it, Chrome was very unhappy about it and flashed up a page with the following message: "Danger: Malware Ahead! Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on Content from, a known malware distributor, has been inserted onto this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware."

I've been using Chrome for over a year and this is the first time that I've had this warning flashed at me, so I'm not inclined to just ignore it. Not sure if there is anything that needs doing, but just wanted to mention it.

There was an image link to that muscle car site in a comment. So, I deleted it and Chrome seems happier now.

... I'm a little unsure if this was more of a false alarm or really something serious. I imagine it may be possible for someone to take-over an old website and change images links into something malware-like. But, I wouldn't think it would be possible to do that.

Chrome sometimes like to act up at times and display that message kind of randomly. I've had it block sites briefly that I visit on a daily basis.
