I just made a survey and the auto suggestions seem kind of random. They might be from surveys I made before, but there are very few suggestions. I'm wondering how it decides which ones to use.

And the bar in the first option (Yes) turned yellow. Weird and interesting.

I'm not sure myself. I'm not even sure what you mean, but I think I've seen my browser do that in the past. I think it was based on stuff I've typed into those fields of a form before. But, I just tried to make it happen and got nothing. So, it's hard to confirm.

I assume the browser remembers what was typed in for each named form element, then offers it as a suggestion. I think it was once helpful to me as I've done a number of "How often..." surveys that used similar "always, sometimes, rarely, never" answers. So, they came up as suggestions that I actually used in a couple cases. The fields for the answers are named something like "answer1", "answer1", etc.

I assume which browser (e.g. Chrome, IE, Firefox) and which version matters. I think it's all done in the browser. Some browser may not do it at all. The web pages I made don't give the browser info like that as far as I know.

I really don't know what's up with that yellow thing, maybe just an indication of 'focus' element of the form.

Interestingly, I just turned in my weekly html assignment for Chapter 5: Forms. This class is super fun. I know more about what you are saying than I would have a week ago. Next week (week 7), we start CSS.
