Go back to working for an old company or move on with a new one?
#30 posted July 23, 2013 at 8:34pm (EST)Oye... That's a tough one. I certainly wouldn't go back to any place where I was, ever. I never really got fired - when I did; it was because I was so fed up with the stupidity of the place and its practices that I spoke out. I did so always expecting to be fired but what I was really doing was speaking my mind before quitting. Doing that once doubled my salary! I still, eventually, quit. I guess I would move on...

headache or aspirin
#47 posted July 26, 2013 at 11:34pm (EST)Hmmmm.... A six pack of beer? A bottle of wine? I really, really hate sleeping pills - they can mess up your entire day. However, my doc prescribed something last year (when I tried to quit smoking because the first 3 days are nasty and keep you up), she said it was a muscle relaxant. She prescribed more than I needed (only 3 nights are horrific when you quit smoking) but I'm still on the jerks and I have no more pills. I gave my last ones to my daughter when she was having a bad time with her scoliosis and anxiety attacks (dunno where she gets that crap from! Must be from Ben's side of the family!)
If I really had to pick, I'd go with insomnia. I can always put some documentary on youtube and fall asleep as I watch it and if I don't, well at least I learned something.
