Dear All,

So I havent ben playing poker much kids off school etc, well I now have to spend more time at work because of the following:

On Wednesday evening at about 6.30pm, a team of Narcotics police along with Airport security and entered my store asking to speak with me.

They asked me where my driver was, I informed them he had left for the day, they proceeded to tell me that my cashier would be required to answer questions as they had evidence that she was involved.

It appears that a passenger was arrested on the BA flight bound for the UK with 6lbs of cocaine in her hand luggage, not only did she implicate my cashier but the airport have video footage of my driver handing her the drugs in the departure lounge, which she put in her bag.

He obviously did not show up for work Thursday morning despite 3 undercover narcotics officers waiting for him where i live (the company van is parked at my house and every morning at about 8.00am he drives up in his vehicle takes the van then goes to work, i have no place at work to park it + I live like 5mins form the airport) this also caused panic where I live as my neighbours saw 3 guys in dark glasses waiting with engine running for 45mins not moving so THEY called the police...ugh. that was eventually straightened out.

Whilst the guilt of my driver is not in question , my cashier will not be arraigned/bailed until Wednesday and there is some slight question as to her guilt, but on camera she SAT next to the women whilst my driver gave her the bag she neither acknowledged the woman or my driver...that in itself is suspicious..(You know when someone is studiously avoiding eye contact etc)...what are the odds in the whole airport she sat next to her and even if they were strangers you normally would "acknowledge" someone even a nod or a look and when my driver came up and quickly gave her the bag, assuming she was innocent, why wouldn't she look up?, say hello to her? co-worker something AND if she was NOT involved if you were the driver and you saw a co-worker sitting next to your courier wouldn;'t you think " crap, what's she doing there?" there are so many questions with regards to her. her sister who is a senior customs officer whom I like and who got her the job is adamant (understandably) that she was "in wrong palce at the wrong time" scenario.

You can understand that the last few days have been stressful at work.

Regards David

Wowsers.

Why do the exchange AT the airport? Was that just stupidity or was there a good reason for it?

Well my staff has an access pass and if he gives her it in the departure lounge AFTER the pax has passed through security then you circumvent it....

you wouldnt want to give it to her before or on the outside as she might get caught going through all the security checks

I think it is interesting, too. Fordguy - do you still listen to your scanner? I might start posting interesting bits I hear again. In keeping with gambler's topic - I occasionally hear drug issues. Not too often, though.
