I think you need to add Savants as well considering that some people who are autistic are also savants. Like Dustin Hoffman in Rainman he played an autistic savant. I watched a show about autistic people and savants the other day it was very interesting savants who are often autistic are very creative and articulate people. One man could listen to someone play a piece of music on the piano one time and play it perfectly on the first ty after hearing it played only once.

Where is there an option for people who know someone with autism or aspergers syndrome, but that person isn't a friend, relative, neighbor or co worker?

You should mention Asperger's Syndrome (sp?) too which is a mild form of autism.

The link doesn't actually tell us anything about autism, it's just a link to loads more links. Please replace it with a link directly to a site about autism, or put something in the explanation to say what sutism is. (Or, do both).

But don't keep using the Google directory as a link - it's really annoying, and doesn't do anything to enhance the survey. If I want to look something up on Google I can do it myself, I know where it is. If you, as a survey creator, want to include a link to provide additional information in the explanation then make an effort to find a site that is actually about the subject instead of expecting us to do all the work ourselves.
