You had a car re-possessed and owe them over $10k deficiency, your house is now worth $150k less than you owe on it, your mortgage payment is half your net income, you're in default on all your credit cards and bill collectors are calling constantly, you're getting behind on the other car payments and you can't sell either one since you owe more on them than they are worth, you're now paying $150 a week just for gas, food is going up, your nerves are shot and now you're taking narcotics to relieve the anxiety, and you're nervous because you haven't had anything to do at work for almost two months now.
Oh, and you can't file bankruptcy since with the revised BK laws you make too much money to qualify. And you're already working two jobs.
