Do eating disorders affect you?

Back to Survey

The holiday season is creeping up on us quickly. -- Not only are holidays a time to celebrate with friends and family, but a time where our food consumption tends to grow as well. People are plagued with eating disorders everywhere, but do they grow or appear even moreso around the holidays? Are you afraid of getting fat because of holiday eating?

Sorry, options. Yes, No, Other do not limit answers. I fudging hate being forced being faced with essay surveys when Yes, No or Fudge You will suffice. I always abstain on those.

I don't particularly like to give options, because it limits the scope of answers...and I'm looking for everything, not just what I think you might say...but I'll consider it next time.

Well..isn't obesity considered an eating disorder? and personally, I don't think of myself as being affected by an eating disorder... I'm aware of my body when gaining and losing weight, and obviously I'd like to be my ideal weight, but I don't have problems to the effect of dieting, diet pills, or binge eating. I do know some people that have been affected though, and holiday times seem to be a bit more stressful on them, obviously due to the sheer proportions of food that surround our holiday tradition. That said, I do think that eating disorders become more apparent around the holidays, and I am aware that I may gain weight as a result of holiday eating...sad but true
