Is it just me?

Did anyone else find it funny that this year's Superbowl had Celine Dion sing "God Bless America" during the opening? Part of the refrain is "God bless America, my home sweet home." So, is it just me or did the Superbowl Commission not realize that Celine Dion is Canadian?

I heard that she sang, I didn't know it was that song. It certainly isn't the first time that someone sang a patriotic song at a sporting event that wasn't of that particular nationality...

Should this survey be marked offensive? You know, in case Celine Dion happens upon it.

I thought maybe a few SCers might think I was prejudiced against Canadians or other non-Americans and I don't want them to think I am.
