it would sound better if you said: Not a description of your current SO unless he or she is your ideal SO/mate. |

I understand what you're trying to say but it is a little confusing.
Maybe say:
If you are already committed to your ideal SO describe him/her however if your current SO is not your ideal mate please describe the person you would like to be with.
Or something along those lines. |

If someone's ideal SO is their current SO, why can't they give that person's description? Do you find it difficult to believe that some people are lucky enough to find and be with their ideal SO? |

Reasonable... BUT I think you are going to get a lot of replies saying something like "My current SO is ideal for me" You might therefore like to somehow deter people from saying this.
