Do you believe there is a "ruling clique" at Survey Central?

Meaning a small group of "buddies" who rate each other well, qualify each other's surveys, and refuse to accept the opinions of others whom they deem lesser than themselves?

Some people seem to think so. What do you think?

There is a group of people that has been here for a long time, but it is not a small group... It includes most of the users. I can see how a newcomer can feel a little bit left out... especially when they don't want to do things the way that people are used to seeing things done around here.

Nor do I see any evidence of clique activities as described in this survey. Did we maybe have a few surveys shot down and are now looking for a conspiracy to explain it?

I think this is a member of the REAL ruling clique trying to throw us off his trail... hehe.
And as to all the comments about mediocre/crapty surveys.. I have something to say.
I dont write surveys so that people will like them. Frankly, I think most of you are mindless idiots, and I dont want you to like my surveys. In fact, if too many of you did like them, I would be insulted. I write my surveys for fun, and because I like them. And occasionally, to prove something to romkey when his head gets too big. In any event, if you dont like a survey, here is my suggestion.. dont give it ANY vote in the qualifying process. IT needs 5 reasonables.. if you dont like the survey, dont give it a reasonable! Thats what I do!
So say I,
Cody, King of all Mediocre/crapty survey creators

i wasn't blaming you nihon, it was just a comment that this kind of survey can be answered in a few ways, many people seem to like to take the name calling and insulting road instead of a more constructive or informative route. the survey was fine. it is our petty response as a group that is interesting!

True. The only problem I've run into here is a few people thinking they have all the answers and shooting down everyone else who may have a differing opinion or think they have the facts a little wrong. There's no reason to list names since that won't accomplish anything other than creating hard feelings.

The only time I vite "needs work" on a survey is if I legitimately feel it needs work. I don't do it for any other reason. You may disagree with that, but that's your problem, not mine.

I've actually qualified many surveys that I don't agree with. I don't N/W them unless I think they need work to become better. I even change my N/W vote sometimes if others shout me down or provide a good reason.

I feel discriminated against at Survey Central because I am not a member of the "Ruling Clique". I feel that my surveys have been wrongly rated and not qualified, and I feel that my votes and comments have been changed by the "Ruling Clique" from orbit using their Orbital Vote Control Satellite so that they can blackmail me at some future time into claiming that I am delsional.
