Without looking them up, how many of The Seven Wonders of the World can you name?

Pick the number you think you can name, and then list them in your comments.

If you don't know what the phrase "The Seven Wonders of the World" relates to, then pick the first option. I'm using the phrase in the original meaning only - not any of the other sets of wonders (such as modern wonders, natural wonders, etc)

I don't remember all the specifics, but I think I remember at least something about each of the seven.

The colossus of rhodes, the lighthouse at alexandria, the pyramids, a temple of Zeus (in greece?), a temple of aphrodite (in turkey?), the hanging gardens of babylon and... some guy's masoleum.

Just did a quick check. It seems there is a difference of opinion about the "Modern" wonders. The Great Wall of China belongs in one possible list which also includes, the Taj Mahal, the Empire State Building, the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Washington Monument and the Hagia Sofia.

So the pyramids were good enough for the ancient world, but not for the modern one?! Hmmpff, people are so fickle! And what's so great about the leaning tower of Pisa? It's leaning, for god's sake! And the Blue Mosque is way cooler than the Hagia Sofia.

It's called "The baby ate my brain" syndrome.
At least that's what I called it when I had it.

It goes away eventually, replaced by, "I am the mother of an unreasonable two year old" syndrome. That one is ugly....reeealllly ugly........
