My husband did ribs two Sundays ago. Ten pounds of boneless pork ribs which he seared first in a pan over high heat. Then he lined them up in a huge deep baking pan and added all kinds of spices and seasoning salt and salsa and hot sauce and a bit of beer. He covered the pan with foil and slow cooked them in the oven for over three hours at about 300-350 degrees. They fell apart and were tender and perfect and the flavor was amazing!!!!!!
I have never seared ribs this way before cooking them opting to boil them first and then throw them on the BBQ grill and brush with sauce....The searing seems to lock in the flavor and juices. Good Eating!!!!!!!!!!
