Cell phones don't automatically mean you've got more money. I can't think of anyone who doesn't have a cell. Even my 9 year old does. These days, cells are cheaper than landlines....at least for me. |

Oh okay. I was thinking a school bus. I wouldn't let Caleb ride a city bus alone, either. Too many whack jobs out there. Yay on getting her in a better school, though. I hope something works out for you. Hopefully you and Irene can work something out. | Amanda

Jessica, I believe you've said before that you're on disability. Even if they did take you to court, they can't touch that money. When they call, if you decide to talk to them, tell them you're on disability and can't afford to pay them. After that, they'll probably leave you alone, for the most part. That's what I did when I worked as a collection agent. It wasn't worth my time calling somebody who I knew couldn't pay. I was working on commission, so I wanted the ones that I at least had a chance with. |
