I have been reading your unreasonable comments to Wicksy and have come to the conclusion that you are jealous of him. He is very popular on this site (more than you will ever be) and is very good looking (no doubt you aren't, hence the abuse). It's very sad and I think you need to get a life

yah right! it starts with a stupid ass question of why a survey had been on for so long and he flies off the handle. if hes going to be an ass about it then screw him. and what the fudge? i've never even seen you reply before. where did you come from? and now he's giving me these freaky-ass faces and what the hell am i supposed to make of that besides he's clincally insane.

Wow, excellent taste! I went to see Megadeth a few years back, great show. I was right up front and Dave even started a small riot in the audience. Some jerk in the front row yelled an insult at him and so Dave yelled "And that my friends is what happens when you breed with your relatives, someone punch that motherf*cker" and so a bunch of people jumped this guy and he ended up being taken away on a stretcher! And meanwhile he just looked down from the stage like he was completely indifferent to the whole incident.

First CD's bought, 1987:
1) Heart's greatest hits
2) Rhino collection including Troggs
3) Laurie Anderson - Big Science
Velvet Underground was not available for years later.
4?) Talking Heads - Little Creatures
I had a dozens of records before (& after) that.
First CD's bought as Kristal, 1993:
1) Siouxsie and the Banshees - Twice upon a time (the singles)2) Elastica
3) Lucas - Lucasentric
First records bought, 1970:
1) Chuck Berry - My Dingaling/Johnny B Goode
2) Elvis Presley - Jailhouse Rock
3) ?? - I can see clearly now.
First rock records owned, 1969:
1) Beach Boys - all summer long
2) Ventures - Ventures knock me out
First records owned, 1968:
1) Frankie the funny fireman
2) Sing-along with Goofy
3) Snow White soundtrack
First record recalled, 1966:
Peter, Paul, and Mary with The Toy and Puff the Magic Dragon.
I could probably go on listing hundreds of albums I've owned, and given some thought, even give you the purchase sequence. I could probably even roughly tell you when and where I was when I first heard every song I've ever heard, and who I had met recently.

only five... that will require alot of thought... let's see. Jimi Hendrix for sure. And Cyndi Lauper. Chris Cornell. The Pixies. (I know that is more than one. But I don't know which of the pixies is most important.
This is so hard because there are songs that I feel are a huge part of me, when I don't know anything about the artist, or no longer like the rest of their music. For instance Nothing Compares has been my favorite song for as long as I remember. I forget about it and then when I hear it again I just cry.... but I don't really know anything else by Sinead O'Conner. And there are songs by Nirvana or Pearl Jam, but I wouldn't want to be identified as a N. P.J. fan. and there is pink floyd.... okay okay.
Jimi Hendix John Frusciante The Pixies Anthony Kiedis and....Chris Cornell. I will probably be back to change that a hundred times but for now.

I can improvise on the fly, first time, to any genre including those in foreign modes/keys and flexible time signatures with rapid complementary slide and hammer melodic flourishes with both hands simultaneously on a violin-bass (while creating grungestalts). Many others here have musical talents to. Do you mean to say that you can't respect any artists on this survey except those you have listed? Even so, taste is subjective, and the fan of 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' can be said to have 'taste' by definition.
