Cool survey...I don't really daydream about "increased X ability", but I do daydream about doing more with the abilities I have and/or learning new skills and doing something with those, like playing my bass in a band instead of letting the thing just take up space in my study.

I rated this survey good, but why is it considered an offensive survey?

Handle- I really had no idea whether it was offensive or not (sorry, I know some people hate that) I figured someone might be offended because I said sex (I remember someone in another survey telling the author he should have rated it offensive because he said the "s-word") Now that I think about, it probably wouldn't be considered offensive, but at the time I wasn't sure. Just for future reference, what are some guidelines for whether something would be considered offensive or not? I seriously would like to know.

Jane: I agree. Offensive rating is just too vauge. Misuse of it has gotten me screamed at on numerous occasions. And besides, what one SC user might find inoffensive, everyone else sees it as offensive.

Jane - sorry, I don't have clear guidelines for offensive. The best I can come up with is this: If it's something that wouldn't be on national TV because of its offensiveness, then it's offensive.
Brian, the offensive setting is intended for surveys that discuss offensive topics. A poorly written or annoying survey is not necessarily offensive.

I've probably done all of them at some point, but I most often fantasize about love, sex, changing my appearance, and power - in that order.

You could also include changing my personality, although I classify that more as perpetual self-delusion. "From now on, I'm going to wake up early every morning and be incredibly organised and not procrastinate." Yeah sure.

Hello. I suppose you all heard about what happened in Colorado. Well, last night I had this really strange dream that the same thing happened at my school, but it kept happening over, and over, but each time it was a different friend of mine doing the crime, and then, when my best friend did it, i was the first person she killed. It was really strange and i just though it kind of applied to this category. ;)

I marked a bunch; here's my "other" answer - I daydream a lot about technology - the way people live, and what kinds of technologies would change it (transportation, housing, agriculture, you name it).

I mainly desire to excel in those areas which i have some degree of talent and interest in. However, I do often think about totally changing my life; just selling up and becoming a completely new person.

Right now most of my daydreams center around sex and love because I am 300 miles from my boyfriend and get to see him about once a month. :( But I also think those are the most fun daydreams. ;)

I dream about a nice trip to Ireland to see some of the beautiful green, lush landscapes and sitting in a pub drinking a wonderful brew.

Lately my daydreams have all surrounded my car and the modifications I dream of making if I ever have the Xtra cash.

Esthetically: window tinting,
headlight templates, foglights, vinyl eyebrow, paint some of the inside trim around the airvents, stereo and controls chrome. Repaint front license plate chrome, paint front ford emblem solid chrome color, repair small hole in rear seat upholstery, repair ding in windshield. I am buying new tires with my income tax rebate(Dunlops, I hope.)I'd like new wheels too :)
Mechanically: For increased performance a K& N drop in air filter, cat back exhaust with a cool looking 4" tip. I will have the air conditioning serviced in the spring.
I did some repairs and a single wiper modification last weekend. It was so hard and so rewarding.
I am a motorhead. I never thought it would happen to me.

I mostly fanitsize about my b/f.

Beautiful, I want to do paintings similar; lakes w/ will-o-wisps & dragonflies courting in the summer twilight at the rise of a dancing zodiac. I want to grind the paints from yellowstone to arizona,usa rock hunts, composing for viewing on multiple wavelengths like black light. (My rose-quartz 3 faced hindu deity sculpture {shaped like a tadpole within an iris [or the 3 faced doll I owned at age 5]} looks pink & white, under UV it glows orange & purple though in different places)You inspire me to take my bath. I see purple sparkles all the time.
