When you first created your account at Survey Central, did you do it with another user name than the one you have now?

Many people have changed their names for their own personal reasons and it's caused confusion for some people - namely ME! Help me get it straight and post your previous name(s). You may post the "Why? For..." if you want.

Much appreciated... * wink *

I meant to say brain injury! (Now, I'll probably get a lot of jokes about being brain-damaged lol!)

 * laughing out loud * Maybe...I'm just a big Bond fan, that's all! I know there was, at one time, tapes you could buy of older TV shows such as Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, etc. I wonder if they are still around.

I am jolly good and very busy in the real world with raising Mallory and working hard and nurturing my relationship with my man. Not enough hours in the day but I'm making a solid effort to try and start keeping in touch at SC. I've missed you all.

I understood what you meant! I'm glad to hear your doing well - it's scary stuff. I've often thought of you, wondering how you were getting along. My boss had a stroke last year and was lucky enough (... * frown * ) to not have had his speech impaired, nor anything too disabling. He's lost his balance and is very weak but he's a trooper and he's getting stronger every day. He sure didn't loose his sense of humour! * smile *

Keep touching base with me Juliw (and don't change your name! Too many julies confuse me!) * smile *

Probably if you look hard enough... Right now, I'm just waiting for the Seinfeld Series out on DVD (November 23rd); I'm getting it for Matt (my son) for Christmas. He's a big fan! Me too! * wink *

That's really nice of you to think of me, Irene. I am doing great! My balance is not the best, but I know things could have been a LOT worse! I am glad your boss is doing well. A positive attitude and a sense of humor does help a lot. No plans to change my name anytime soon. By the way, you are free to e-mail me or IM me anytime you want to touch base. Oh, and one more thing--I still haven't gotten around to mailing the Kerry bumper stickers. I haven't forgotten you, joalis, and Maarten, though! My e- mail addy is Caseycaseymama@aol.com OR caseygidget21@hotmail.com. I have MSN messenger with the caseygidget address, and also have AOL Messenger. My Yahoo ID is caseygidget. By the way, Gidget is my cat. Casey was my other cat. She died about a year and a half ago (Memorial Day, 2003).

Uck...I have never cared for Seinfeld. I just can't find much humor in characters that are so self-absorbed, especially the character of Elaine.

I'm at work now so I pasted your info and sent it to my e-mail account! I'm stuck here on a Friday night... * frown * As usual, it's FREAK OUT FRIDAY! Everybody is yelling for their jobs! Man... I can only do one at a time and to make things worst; we've just installed a new Mac G5 running on OS10 so naturally - I need time to work the bugs out. I've had so many problems this week that I'm just using my old computer to process jobs. So now, with this new computer; I can go SCing while I'm spooling jobs to the image setter! Neat!
Like I said, I've been having so many problems that I'm getting glitches everywhere - I was having problems with one of the cassettes (that receives the film after exposure and is used to bring it to the processor). I just opened it to see what was wrong and exposed over 20 feet of film and I can't think for the life of me what job that was?!? Everything I printed today, the stripper has... It must have been in there a while...?
I think this new computer is jinxed by Murphy's law... * frown *

Well, not really. Wicca is really individualistic and so a lot of belief systems can tie in with it, but it doesn't have a structured rule system, apart from one that states that your actions shouldn't hurt anybody. You are also not allowed to manipulate anybody else's will. Not everything goes. Also, members of other religions believe in an all powerful God and a evil aspect or a Devil, and the Devil part does not come up in Wicca. I suppose it is possible to have one God in Wicca, but it is still split into two parts. Lots of religions also have a prophet or a human that they revere, such as Jesus, which does not show up at all in Wicca. It's definitely more nature based than other religions. It's not that every belief is included, it's just flexible and allows for the fact that everyone is an individual and it is unrealistic to have a set of rigid rules that some people will only pretend to believe in. I also find Wicca is more empowering to the person and encourages you to do things for yourself instead of asking God for them. I see spells basically as the equivalent of prayers, but instead of asking something to deliver, spells are about gaining the strength and power to do something yourself.

Sorry, that kind of turned into a mini essay itself. * smile *

That was good! Sounds basically like my "religion" only without spells! * grin *

I don't do spells either, I just feel a bit silly doing them, but then I would probably feel silly praying too! I just try to live by the code, respect nature. The only structure I follow are the Wiccan holidays like Beltane and Samhain, the rest is just me being me * smile *
