| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 5-Aug-2003 3:27am I'm going to post a message in FORUM to see who has the camera. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 5-Aug-2003 6:47am Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to ever check there. I forget it exists. |
| Richard47 | (reply to Cleo) posted 5-Aug-2003 12:59pm I hardly see your comments in SC. Are you soooo busy with this camera project? Are you sitting behind a desk 18 hours a day with telephones to post offices around the world, computers focused on each SC buddy, dozens of maps tacked up on a board behind you, adding machines for postage, tracking devices surrounding you? Bills are not payed. You haven't changed you clothes since June. Children are crying for you...your husband has LEFT you...and you remain behind the desk. Is that the picture??? |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 5-Aug-2003 10:08pm Yeah, I thought you forgot about that little feature. BTW I gave Brian your email addy so you can give him your snail addy. Be expecting an email from him asking you for it. You still have my email don't you? well, if not here it is anyway.....just in case. daprovin@msn.com Almost forgot........................I had a great time with you at the Hawaiian Festival last month. How cool it was to see you again. (((((HUGS)))) Don't forget! We're doing it again next year. Hopefully Joe might be able to attend that one with us. |
| Cleo | (reply to Richard47) posted 5-Aug-2003 10:35pm Why Richard, did you miss me?? **flutters her eyelashes** I've missed you.((((HUGS))) Yeah, been quite busy with my new job. I landed this job at Old Navy 3 weeks ago but, it's not working out so, I've been pounding the pavement looking for a new(er) job & low & behold....landed a job today working at Walmart, with the "vampire crew" doing night stock & inventory. It pays more & I get WAY more hours than I ever got at Old Navy. Plus it's like 4 or 5 minutes to get to work from where I live. Old Navy is in a total other city 20 minutes & 8 miles away. & for the record I only have "two" 17 x 22 inch little tacky plastic place mat maps & they fit nicely on my desk. **shocked look** You must be physic or something. I just paid my two credit card bill just yesterday & I REALLY did have to change my clothe twice today, due to the fact that my new deodorant didn't last long enough to get me through my 3 interviews (from 7:30am to 3:45pm) with potential Walmart employers. It was grueling!!I thought I was going to die from embarrassment. I had to hold my arms tight against my body so not to let them smell me. It was horrible!! I've never been in that kind of embarrassing predicament with an employer in all my adult life. I'm going back to my AVON deodorant! Anyway,I made it through, passed the drug test & I go in for an orientation on Friday. **pats myself on the back & munches a macadamia nut cookie** **sits back** So what have you been up to Richard?? Oh MY God!! You actually came back to my survey to see if I had popped in. Wow! That really warms my heart. I've been in Forum for a bit, trying to find out where the camera is now. Brain is supposed to have it next but, he still hasn't received it yet.**worried look on her face** But, here is the clincher......he has to send it BACK to southern California so Kristal Rose can use it. Then Kristal will send it to Zang in Canada. I guess it'll be a while before you receive it & even longer before Maarten,Dino,Biggles, Smurf & Skylark get it. Oh well, got nothing but time. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Richard47) posted 5-Aug-2003 11:02pm That's more my sort of picture, esp. when I get around to my eBay viewmaster retail project. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 5-Aug-2003 11:05pm Drug test? They get you stoned and see if you can still handle doing inventory? |
| Cleo | (reply to Richard47) posted 5-Aug-2003 11:21pm Haaaaaaa! I wish!!! I love you KR you ALWAYS make me smile. Well, all you need to know is that I passed the drug test & that I got the job at Walmart. I was getting a bit frustrated with Old Navy. 8 to 20 hours a week is just not cutting it!! How will I ever be able to spend money at the next Ho'olaule'a like that?? |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 6-Aug-2003 1:06am There's a PBS show about Hula on now (it's history and importance there and everywhere else). I didn't spend adime this time. Good thing too. I just discovered I've been living 70% above my means on credit in recent months. |
| Richard47 | (reply to Cleo) posted 6-Aug-2003 9:32am Well, now that you've asked....I'm making friends and enemies on here (SC), so everything is going according to plan. Still being called every name under the sun (but I know it is being done with love!!!). Some of my SC constituents are like very old rusty cans and I am a manual(hint word) can -opener twisting and turning, struggling to get them open...and release them from the stifling vacuum so people can "breath"! Other than that..... Work, school, life... couldn't be going any better. I'm in the midst of moving from Cambridge (I have to get away from Romkey who is constantly at my door asking for a cup of sugar) to a small seaside city called Quincy. I celebrated my birthday last Sunday (vanity prevents me from saying which one). A close friend provided a ' fireworks ' display for me over Boston Harbor. It was thrilling because one set of fireworks actually spelled out my name!!! I am SO physic it is frightening, so I try to stick with my standard psychology measures to communicate to most people (except a chosen few). Good luck with your new job! Nights can be brutal. I'm usually at MY crisis center ALL night, a few nights a week ( My SC time), so I know how that can be! |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 7-Aug-2003 12:15am Haaaaaaaaa! I've been living well beyond my means since David met me. |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 7-Aug-2003 12:17am Go to FORUM.......you have a message from Zang. I received email from him this evening. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 7-Aug-2003 12:41am done. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Richard47) posted 7-Aug-2003 12:45am I was wondering who would take my place here if I retired this activity, then you appeared. You're quite a bit more 'nut's and bolts' rather than 'planes of being' in your subject matter though. |
| Cleo | (reply to Richard47) posted 7-Aug-2003 1:08am Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! You make me laugh, Richard!! <3 You have that dry sort of sense of humor that I find quite interesting & refreshing. You SO remind me of someone else whom I loved & cherished dearly that used to be here at SC a while back. I think I told you about him?? His name is Brian. Not the BrianW that is here now.....someone else, that had almost the same sort of unique sense of humor as you. He left me/us suddenly when things got to be a little much for him here. We used to get into some uplifting & humorous banter that you & I kinda have now. But, just for the record.....there are a lot of people here that DO find you a bit strangely different but, yet "cool" at the same time. Seriously tho, you are a breathe of fresh air for me. As for those "crusty old cans" that your trying so hard to open........ some "crusty old cans" just need be left to their own demise. Those cans could (not only) break your can opener but, also cause food poisioning if you open them & partake of their subtance. I'm impressed tho, Richard your name in "lights?" How cool is that?? & so befitting for a LEO!! Seeing as how LEO'S love to be in the limelight anyways!! Funny...(not ha ha funny but, strange funny) that you should mention your birthday & the age thing cause, just last night(HONESTLY) I was thinking, "What does that 47 signify at the end of Richards name?" I was thinking probably the year he was born? Or maybe his age? Cause just so happens my (only) brother is born in '47. So what is it? Email me & tell me. dabprovin@msn.com Not fair!! You know how old I am.**pouts** I'm assuming that you just when you say that Romkey is your neighbor. But, really why would you move NOW?? What about the camera??**bits her fingernails nervously** Please leave your forwarding address with me when you do move. Thanks (((((HUGS))))) for the luck on my NEW & improved "Vampire" job. I'm going to need it. I've only work that shift once, it was 2 years ago & it WAS brutal!! It's going to take a lot of getting used to again. Hopefully in 6 months they'll let me go to days but, that would also mean a cut in pay. |
| LindaH | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 7-Aug-2003 1:12am ack! don't retire, though. I like you both, in your different ways. He lacks something you don't, but I'm not sure I can explain it. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to LindaH) posted 7-Aug-2003 7:48am Everyone lacks something someone else doesn't, or rather has something others don't. Thanks though. |
| Richard47 | (reply to Cleo) posted 7-Aug-2003 10:29am 47 are my numerological (astrological) lucky numbers ( I am a mere child, Cleo...though by some of my responses, you can kinda guess my age (between 20 and 50)..though I will NEVER admit to it!) As for my "style"...it will never change! Do you do any type of volunteer work with runaway teen-agers? I sense this would be something you would find very rewarding (for many reason). Anyway, I see this in your future. You have a way with teen-age boys (no pun intended) that I feel you should explore. It has to do with a typr of 'respect' I feel they have for you (Just a fleeting thought that passed by me). Stay connected to me (in this aspect), and just for being the party lovin animal gal that you are. Remain kind and generous!! (oh, by the way, I need to borrow $2,500. Just have David send the check to me! Thanks I will keep you apprised of my address change (now that Romkey has run me out of the neighborhood with his posse of Echuduanna and Pomeranian)!! |
| Richard47 | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 7-Aug-2003 10:39am You can never retire. You will simply rise to a higher esoteric mystical plane...and increase your field of awareness (to include the heavenly spirits which guide our SC users). This is a state of being you have not yet aspired to. Well, Snake (southernyankee) came up with a survey about "troll comments" that I find delightful. This is the sort of consciousness that is liberating (even though there were true subliminal messages in ALL the user comments) and can only bring people closer together. This can be done between friends, strangers...or therapists!! It is my first incarnation of this sight. |
| Richard47 | (reply to LindaH) posted 7-Aug-2003 10:39am I'll take that as a backhanded compliment! |
| LindaH | (reply to Richard47) posted 7-Aug-2003 12:48pm |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Richard47) posted 7-Aug-2003 4:54pm I can step back. I went neraly the first three years of my awakening with everything external coming in as internally personal. I finally figured out that I wasn't reaching some yet higher place that alleviated my isolation, and that Icould convince myself agait that 'they' were real in spite of having seen nothing but there strings being pulled by the single universal consciousness for so long. After I became a minister (which spirit recommended to me for all saints day) My meditations were being bombarded by dozens of voices and images of drifting people. I can connect to SC users purely through spirit though I usually channel through media as well. I've remotely triggered awakenings in two or three of them. I used to try pure telepepathic chat with users, much like the forum. A guy named Richard was prominent, but that was years before your arrival. Spirits which guide - their souls? .. or some concept like the heirachy? I have no doubt that there are many planes I have not seen, and room for expansion in all those I have seen so far. I've been for instance in a place where I was one in the moment with the director of reality creating every molecule that hit my senses, but it was limited to my field of perception, I had no idea what was happening in the eye nebula. I'll have to see the troll survey. If I understand correctly, he's speaking of one of my base planes, where words all directly hit each other, but have no meaning left on the plane of rational separatism. I get events synchronized like that too. I'll try carrying luggage home from a flight on a bus, but some angel will pick me up on a street corner with a free taxi ride and jump right into advice on the troubling questions I never voiced. I made a survey years ago 'what level do you hear/speak on?' (it takes a lot more confident guts to speak on those levels, you have to surrender believing there are repurcussions on the rational plane). You might take a look; I break media channelling into about 28 sub-types. The funny thing is that even the meaning of the answers depends on what level you are hearing on. It was a frustration of mine back then trying to get through to people on a mundane plane about higher planes. Soon (couple months?) after I arrived at SC I embarked on being a channel for a dozen people at any given time, crafting sentences made to be read by a dozen people, meaning a dozen separate things, and keeping a telepathic link to know what meaning it would have for who. I also was pointing out to individuals what everyone elses words meant to them personally, striving to let everyone see that we were all just one interconnected conversation. I kept it up for 72 hours straight. Perhaps two of a hundred got what was going on. That's two more than none. I found it easier to work with people one on one. I had one fellow on another continent whom I'd tweak the physical environment of, and told him he could toss his alarm clock, choosing to be waken by a flock of parrots instead. He had the parrots clock two months before leaving SC, but it was still a slight failure. I was trying to demonstrate what control 'he' had over his environment, instead he considered them my doing. It's good having you to talk to. You remind me of all the things I left behind doing which are more in the loop than my current closeted away existence. Unless you absolutely 'know' I haven't been somewhere, describe these places better. I've done quite a lot of travelling, even if I've left them behind. |
| Cleo | (reply to Richard47) posted 7-Aug-2003 10:29pm No I don't do volunteer work with runaway teenagers, tho I wish I did!!<3 I so love working with teens! I was once a runaway teenager myself, so I can relate to the needs of runaways. The reason why I ran way tho, was because my dad remarried when he got out of jail & sent me to live in the mainland (as the local Hawaiians would call it.) I was born & raised in Hawaii. When I returned home to Honolulu (cause a cousin with whom I was sent to stay with in Carmel, California couldn't control me, begged my father to send me back) my step-mother tried the controlling method with me & it just didn't fly! My mothers death was still to fresh for me to even acept her as my mother. I ended up running away from home endlessly! So yes!! I would love to work with kids. You, Richard have such a rewarding job. What better thing is there? Than to help a child in need. They are so needy at that tender young age.**heavy sigh** My <3 goes out to them & you.....for taking on such a challenge. **pats you on the back** Your on my Christmas card list dude!!! **moves you up an notch past southeryankee** Haaaaa! **laughs hysterically** Had I know that Romkey had a possse I would have been there with my colt 45 python. **feeling like Dirty Harry...et** Don't worry dude, I got your back!! |
| Cleo | (reply to SueBee) posted 7-Aug-2003 10:45pm Sue, I left a message for Mandy a while back stating that you will be passing the camera to Brian. Yes! Please do that. & Brian will send it back to Cali so KR can use the camera too. Then KR will pass the camera to Zang. I know it all sounds a bit confusing but, hang in there, it's easy to remedy the snafu. |
| Richard47 | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 8-Aug-2003 3:26pm Via Goethe's dictum, borrowed by Coleridge,' to transcend the logical dependence of a physical entity, it is universally vital to discount all remembrance of prior historic manifestations'. So, it is irrelevant as to the state of your present consciousness when recalling places you have, yet, to go. With a chosen rigid designator to dictate the transworld identification process, you can experience several layers of nominalism pertaining to natural law necessity. Kristal Rose, primitive notice of time/space adventures, even relating to celestial travel, obliterates casual isolation from the present world. The epistemological priority must not be limited to absolute idealists as to disturb the ontological status of Spiritual Guidance (telepathic, channeling, etc.....) as we understand it. Your true time is close at hand. You must dip into the valley of the mundane existance to appreciate the kind of distinctions you are eternally searching for!! |
| Richard47 | (reply to Cleo) posted 8-Aug-2003 5:10pm One of my associates has contacts with a teen-age runaway residential treatment center in Murrieta called "The Oak Grove Institute/ Jack Weaver School"... (909) 677-5499. You may want to give them a ring and talk about your experiences, and your strengths...and see how you could devote a few hours a week talking and helping the run-away teens. Think about it, Cleo. It's a match made for you. Who knows where it will lead? If you want more specifics, let me know. Another good resource center is in Lake Elsinore. 'The Family Service Association' (909) 245-4891. I am pretty sure they have youth services and possible volunteer positions available. Of course, I'm not pushing you ( R pushing...pushing C into the social service field) but I feel you would be a valuable asset for those kids. * of course, only if you can" push" yourself away from the 'Kodak Around The World 'project for a few moments!! |
| Cleo | (reply to Richard47) posted 8-Aug-2003 11:20pm OH MY GOD!!!! That's like 2 miles from where I live. I was going to apply for a job there but, when I picked up the application paper work at "Oak Grove Institute" it said that "they" would do a through background check.......& seeing as how I've had my share, of a brush with the LAW in my past history I decided to decline & not go any further in filling out the application. Assault on a peace officer of the law. ( I just touched him, for God sake!) 1978 Possession of a controlled substance. (Benadrile) Trespassing. "My friend broke" a store window & took a yellow jumpsuit & we were both so drunk. But, I was with her so I got busted right along with her for that. 1972 & Drunk in public & causing a disturbance. 1977 I so wanted to have a job working there, Richard but, I think my past history killed that dream for me. Wow!! You know something Richard?? I think all of this **motions an imaginary circle around your reply & my response** is ALL TOO WEIRD!!! It's beyond ESP!!! More like "Twilight Zone" **listens to the theme song in her head** Almost hair raising scary...... OAK GROVE was my first choice of where to work when I went job hunting this last time around. Infact ever since I moved to Murrieta 10 years ago & found out what "they" represented, I wanted to work there. I still do.**heavy sigh** The application totally panicked me out & scared me off. If I even thought for one second that I had a VERY good chance of working there I would quit Walmart & Old Navy in a heart beat!! David says that most times they don't care about your arrest only if you've been convicted for them & are a felon or done time. Which none of those things happened to me. Is that true?? What is your friends name at Oak Grove?? Just courious... Oh & I think the phone number is (909) 677-5599 you had a 5499 instead. |

They all know each other through baseball, though. But, the connection I got with "you" had nothing to do with them (but a little name dropping on your part, now and then, can never hurt). You need to obtain a copy of your Criminal Offender Record Information...in all the states where you have been arrested. All of your cases can be legally "sealed" (since you have no felonies). Everyone with minor misdemeanors should investigate their CORI's, no matter what field they want to enter into. (Like knowing your credit hx) In the criminal world, you are a baby...and none of THAT should prevent you from "spending a few hours a week with some of those kids, Cleo". I can't stress that enough!! You are at a place in your life when many rewards will come your way for all the pain you've had to endure. Time to cash in your "pain coupons" and live on the flip side of your life experiences, Cleo! |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Richard47) posted 9-Aug-2003 12:59am Goethes dictum applies to rewriting history as well. One personal example I have of that was when I realised that the future of nano-technology indicated the possibility of a regenesis in which we became a collective of amorphous conscious matter and terraformed a new world of ourselves. Research I then 'manifested' led to my discovery of a 1972 discovery of a volcanic rock that thrives on heat and sulphur, no CO2 or O2, which has it's own dna and protein structures. This is said to be a third form of life, precursory by billions of years to open and closed cell 'biology'. This relates to the ben-ben stone which flew like the star of bethlehem to seed-structure the planet. It is guarded by the phoenix (more regenesis) in the library beneath the sphinx (the archaeology of which I was telepathically linked to before it went public). It's properties are described in ancient kabbalistic texts on golems (laws of conscious virulent sub-atomic matter restructuring propogations). I also came up with the core concept of the 'hungry molecule' to achieve this. The seed is formulated to have it's surface grows perpetually incomplete, creating in it's wake through adjacent matter at the speed of electricity. I sent it to the DOE as a means of nano-fusion. Earlier I sent it to Clinton (and instantly got 48 hours of black helicopters). When you see folks like Bill Joy speak on Charlie Rose about not letting the Genie out of the bottle, this is what is being referred to. It going wrong on firs launch is a billion more times likely, and it would create what in fiction has been referred to as 'the crystal world', ice-nine (vonneguts cat's cradle) (also a kabballistic reference), gray-matter, and the langoliers. The state of the art is already quite intense. (I subscribe to industry journals). They have plumbing which can superconduct particles of each type and transistors to let them through. I haven't heard of them knitting gold with these yet (they sure did in the future though). Instead they use genetic programming to create sensory display computing surface materials. As far as the future goes, I once logged on to the net and in one sitting encountered hundreds of sites (barely even trying) which plunged me deeper into the future of nanotechnology to a point where NASA was the umbrella for a dozen agro labs growing gold based plants with their own micro-gravity, and eventually leading to virulent-conscious matter nuclear wars against nano-layered-people, and finally to calculations for the propogation of entire asteroid nebulae to consume each other in intergalactic battle. This was a physical timeline I hoped I could forget, yet it progresses even faster than I imagined. It was the source of much contemplation though, as I realised that even on a scientific level, we were merely becoming what we already had been. Curiously, even in that domain where consciousness roams free through matter, the question of god still remains. It doesn't end dualism. The name Kristal Rose Phoenix McKinstry has served me well. I'm getting cool stuff in my return to Thor though. I just designed a music instrument I call the viking pedal veena. Like the indian veena, it has a hollow neck and resonators at each end. The dual pontoon shape is fashioned from strips like a viking ship. The nut and bridge are both suspended like a concert bass. Butterfly fingers at each end allow chord tunings. It is like a steel pedal guitar in that it has a pedal for master tremolo and sliding the anvil (two means of note bending). The anvil is like a neck where modular fretboards can be slipped in (eastern, western, scooped, fretless). There would of course be a couple pickups in the anvil dedicated to each string. I'm thinking of satinwood (green), canary-wood (yellow), and butterflies (jigsaw puzzle pieces that lock the strips together) in the shapes of actual butterflies or paisley made of purpleheart and orange sheoak. For the fretboard I'm thinking burled figured black myrtle, or pink ivory or burled camphor. I can't seem to find any nice blue hardwoods yet. Spirit told me to make it of olive and cedar, so I may still go that route. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-Aug-2003 1:09am Besides, your history can be described as an asset. People who have been homeless know best why people are homeless, ex-criminals would make for the sort of cops that best understand criminals. You have a good mix of fun compassionate positive openness with a stern no-nonsense practicality that kicks in without reservation when needed. It's a great mix for working with troubled teens. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Richard47) posted 9-Aug-2003 1:10am much better than my suggestion to move on from glittery styrofoam signature sculptures to cake decorating. |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 9-Aug-2003 1:26am Oh...........REALLY???? Wow, that makes me feel a whole lot better. So your saying that I should continue to fill out the application I still have?? & that I have a slim chance of getting in?? Dang! That would REALLY make my life complete. To just work where I feel I have a sincere calling for & hopefully make a difference in someones life. I really do want this. But, like I said, I was in extreme doubt & fear when I read the part that said they do a though background check. |
| Richard47 | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 9-Aug-2003 1:29am The first ionospheric layer found was the so called E layer or region at about 110 km altitude. It is used by radio operators as a surface from which signals can be reflected to distant stations. It is interesting to note that this works also the other way round and, for example, the auroral kilometric radiation created by the precipitating particles high above the ionosphere does not reach the ground because of the ionospheric E layer. Above the E layer, a F layer consisting of two parts can be found: F1 is at about 170 km, and F2 at about 250 km altitude. Also F layer reflects radio waves. The lowermost region of the ionosphere below 80 km altitude, D layer, however, principally absorbs radio waves. Thor (???), I simply must address you on this level, opposed to being in the neutronic center of Alpha Centauri. When you say, Kristal has served you well...where is she going? And what should I expect from Thor? Of course, these questions may be too personal to ask. Answering them may require 'more' effort that speaking of the volcanic anomaly. My personal favorite,The Saraswati veena is the string instrument of Carnatic music. Eerie music, though! It is the last survivor of many types of veenas created in South India. Its form has been fixed definitely at the end of XIXth century and it has progressively replaced all the other veenas. The neck and the main resonator of the instrument are made of the jackfruit tree, a hard wood, as well as the resonance table. I believe the jackfruit may foster blue hardwood. The neck is hollow, and on it 24 straight frets are stuck with a glue made of bee's wax. The bridge is flat and is made of copper, which gives it a recognizable metallic colour, opposed to your olive base design. Four playing strings are, as in the other veenas or beens (in the North) tuned to PA SA SA PA; those strings are played with the forefinger and second finger of the right hand. Three rhythm strings tuned SA PA SA are struck together by the little finger of the right hand. The strings are stopped by the forefinger and second finger of the left hand. The glissandos are made through the pulling technique (as on a sitar). Though, a little too "Ono-ish" to be pleasing to my ears |
| Cleo | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-Aug-2003 1:45am ** wiping the tears from her eyes** Again you have made me cry, Richard. No one ever does THAT except my husband. Richard you have lifted my spirits & filled my heart with joy. I think I WILL finish filling out that application for Oak Grove & turn it in (this time) on Monday morning. <3 Richard Your my hero............well you & Thor!! You guys both have lifted me up to a better feeling of well being. **kiss** |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-Aug-2003 4:44am Fear? What's the worst that can happen? They can deny you? You've already guaranteed that by not applying. Haven't you heard the hundred radio/book guru's who claim your best success, against the odds, will be to follow your calling anyhow? Magical things happen when you do what you feel you are meant to do rather than what you have little choice in. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-Aug-2003 7:24am Awesome radio layer stuff. I can of course relate it to many things. with my connection to sarasvati, it came as no surprise when I felt the need to play from both ends at once that the sarasvati veena was the principle instrument designed for this. and yes, I have difficulty escaping eerie. Mine is a cold distant Nemo/quasar eerie though, not the eerie of Leila Josefowicz on violin or Loreena McKennit's pagan fire music. Gadzooks, recent research indicated jackwood was the wood of choice for veena's, but I'd been searching for a 'blue' hardwood to no avail. Thanks. {oh, I already mentioned looking for blue wood}. *get's feeling richard is calling me back to gurumoortam, siddhaloka, or shamballah* I'm more attuned to orion, I can feel it's location through the ceiling.. Oops, got distracted by hours more of hardwood research. fascinating stuff. |
| SueBee | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-Aug-2003 4:52pm Thanks Cleo! We took a picture yesterday of both of us and Mallory, and the camera is ready to go, so one of us is plenty. We don't need to be hogs! |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 13-Aug-2003 1:26am Good point. I will follow that advice thanks Thor!! ((((hugs))) **Kiss** |

| Cleo | (reply to SueBee) posted 19-Aug-2003 6:05pm **jumps up & down with jelly beans stuffed in her mouth** YAY!!!!! All is going according to plans....................................... Did you get your little stationary enclosed? |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Cleo) posted 20-Aug-2003 5:19pm I'm slipping some stuff into the envelope as well. You know, we could assemble all this stuff for a book, to show the benefits of being part of an on-line community! Of course we'd have to counterbalance it by picking a website where everyone seems to hate each other and everyhting just to be fair. I nominate pretty much any web forum that discuses movies (if you thoguht Religion and Politics could push people's buttons, wait till you see Ain't It Cool News!). |
| SueBee | (reply to Cleo) posted 21-Aug-2003 5:55pm Careful, now! Don't choke on those jelly beans! If you mean the stationary that you started notes on, yes, we got that and passed it along. Great idea! |

| Cleo | (reply to SueBee) posted 21-Aug-2003 11:56pm No hon. I sent a piece of stationary with a map of Seattle just for you & Mandy. I was hopping that you would take it out & keep it. Oh well, I'll send you another..... |
| SueBee | (reply to Cleo) posted 22-Aug-2003 10:22am Oh, I remember that now! We were trying to figure out what the map was of because we didn't recognize it. I'm sorry. |

| tjajda | (reply to Cleo) posted 2-Sep-2003 6:55pm it wont happen |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 2-Sep-2003 10:19pm I just got it today. So who get's it next? btw, it's NOT a digital camera. It's a regular 35mm disposable camera for which they suggest you check the Photo CD option when you get it developed. Kodak has been offering Photo CD for all of it's film processing since 1988. It's a good way to get photos into your computer if you don't have a scanner, and the quality is much better with their scanner. Quality is still generally better using film cameras anyhow. The only reason to go digital is to get the pictures into your computer sooner or not waste photos on shots which can be deleted. If you take lots of photos, it's probably cheaper to go digital. It'll probably be at least a few days before I get a good picture taking opportunity. I have so much homework to catch up on. |
| Cleo | (reply to wolfchik9) posted 6-Sep-2003 1:12am Ummmm I think Brian just sent it to Kristal Rose. |
| Cleo | (reply to tjajda) posted 6-Sep-2003 1:17am So far it's going according to schedule. |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 6-Sep-2003 1:23am Actually it was just an excuse to get everyone to universaly to cooperate with each other. Zang gets the camera next. Do you have his snail address? He will organize & send it along to the rest of the Canadian SC buddies up there. ((((((HUGS)))))) miss you!! |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 6-Sep-2003 3:10am ya ya, I at least want to wait until I can get myself up during the sunlight to take a happier, less contemplative picture. Ah, thanks for the reminder on who get's it next. Hopefully I can send him a tape of my bizarre music. He seems like one of the few who could get it. Your folder was absolutely gorgeous. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 6-Sep-2003 11:56am Did you read the stuff I threw in there? That Matthew Patterson speech was incredible wasn't it? I hope you pass that, plus the other stuff along. And throw anythign you want in there. That could make this real fun. |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 6-Sep-2003 3:35pm Okay, okay no worries....... (((((((HUGS))))))) Besides I just NOW got in touch with (or he just got in touch with me) Joe/Nthensome/OfTheSoul again & I was telling him this morning (9/6) that we were passing a camera around & wanted to know if he wants to participate too. It would be so cool (now) cause the camera is actually BACk in Cali again. Yay! What timming! How cool would that be if you could pass to Joe & he then pass to Zang up in Canada. So, take your time untill I hear from Joe again. Or if you know his email you might want to ask him TOO. But, like I said I've already responded to him just now. So I'll just wait on him to reply. Hopefully by tonight. Why thank you on the folder thingy. Cleo |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 6-Sep-2003 7:49pm I was rather burned out when I first opened the package. I appreciated what I saw and wanted to go through it further though. Kucinich has an office in my peace office (CFWP), so does the office of the americas, and I send Dennis's platform manager material like that found on the visionary praty part of my web site. I was thinking to pass on something creative, not sure what yet. It reminds me of a project we did in sculpture class that was passed from person to person. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 6-Sep-2003 7:54pm I could possibly hand it to Joe by hand, and he could even possibly pass it Zang by hand. It takes a receptive eye to find such a beautiful world card to pass around on a global excursion, it wasn't just a detail, more of a bon voyage, good tidings spell. |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 6-Sep-2003 8:41pm I could come by today and pick it up. Are you still at the same place, a few blocks from me? I won't be going to Canada anytime this month, but I'd be happy to mail it to Steve, if that's where it's going next. (To "Zang", rather.) |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to OfTheSoul) posted 6-Sep-2003 8:47pm Sure. I'll have to hop into the shower and get dressed first, but that'll give us both photographers. An excuse for a visit would be great anyhow, and this is the second one you've come up wih lately. |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 6-Sep-2003 9:27pm Before I commit, my real estate agent just phoned. She needs to come by with some offers! Whoo-hoo! Maybe tomorrow (early morning is best for me) would be better, all the sudden. Do you still live at the same place? There's that great new coffee place on the corner of 18th and LaCienega...would that be good? |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to OfTheSoul) posted 6-Sep-2003 9:49pm Problem for me is I've been waking up at 5pm lately. I'd have to pull an all nighter to do that. Same place. Coffee places could work. I'd have to visit an ATM first. Hopefully something will come up soon. I won't be answering emails for a couple days (finally rebuilding my OS), so SC or phone is better. I recall a thread I never responded to on my inventions. I did used to call COO's of disney, coke, and such, but never got past their lawyers I was next referred to. Eventually I realised I was more effective praying things into existence than doing any hands on work or even bothering with favoritistic exchange of words and money. |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 7-Sep-2003 12:28am I could make it later in the day if you want. (Multiple offers already! First week of opening the listing! Whoo-hoo!) Coffee's on me, but if you'd rather it be late in the day then just say so. If you don't mind the all-nighter (it seemed you were going to do that gig last night, but I pooped out around 11), I'm cool either way. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to OfTheSoul) posted 7-Sep-2003 4:06am I havent' a clue if I'll be up till 5am or all night. I seem to have energy and be making headway on a project. Guess we'll have to figure out something when I know what I'm up to. Tomorrw, less than evening seems unlikely though. |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 7-Sep-2003 5:24am Okay, or Monday. Sorry today didn't work out (so quickly after throwing it out there). It was worth staying back for, I'm thinking. Hey--fun fact. You get to provide a photo as do I, right? That makes two photos. I'm thinking two photos for two of us can make for better than just one photo per each of us...? I dunno. You'll have to see if there's any creativity in that for us... |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to OfTheSoul) posted 7-Sep-2003 7:27am I'd been thinking along those lines. |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 9-Sep-2003 12:58am Glad you liked it!! I sent you & Zang an email today. & posted something for you in FORUM. question: how would Joe pass it to Zang by hand??/ Zang lives in Canada.**scratches her head** |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-Sep-2003 1:03am He's visited Zang before while on canadien business. I'm still off-line as far as email goes, till late tonight or tomorrow (hopefully). That system retore is a major project and I still have a lot of finger-crossing to do now that I've finished backing up the system and hope to restore it from scratch in a couple hours. |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 9-Sep-2003 1:28am Oh mygawd! I hope EVERYTHING works out for you. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-Sep-2003 1:31pm So far so good. Haven't got email running yet, but the computer works again. Right off the bat, after just installing windows and norton antivirus then going online to update the anti virus, I got my first virus in about a decade. Fixed it though. I'll get there, probably do photos with OfTheSoul then send Zang the camera and a tape, probably this upcoming weekend. I can breathe easier after finishing this computer installation, and doing my computer homework for Thursday. |
| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 10-Sep-2003 1:00am I'm so happy to know that you finally got your computer fixed. |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 14-Sep-2003 5:11pm Are you around yet? Give a call when you're back and we'll arrange meeting. I'm needing that cold cup o' joe! I've finally been snagged by that whipped cream, froth o' mocha, foo-foo coffee crap lately by this place. Some of the stronger stuff reminds me of a certain espresso we used to shoot down at the beginning of a night out, in the Açores. It was so strong it was deemed a "drug" by the UCMJ, of course making it illegal to drink, of course making it the most sought after drink off-base. Call or respond. Looking forward to hookin' up! |

| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 14-Sep-2003 11:01pm You've been on some strange hours with that there computer of yours, mister. How was your visit today? Get the time in you had hoped to? Well, tonight is still not out of the question for me. I would meet you or have you over if you are up to it. I could hop over to your place and make it quick, if you wanted. Or...tomorrow--in fact, all of next week--in the evenings is no problem for me. Any day of the week. I still feel bad about last weekend (weekend prior?). Just let me know what time is good. I'd really rather have the time to get some glances at those paintings of yours again. Abel--the one whose paintings (digital work really) I said resembles yours a bit--has been able to squeeze a little more stable work out of us lately. I think I told you about how he's a sound tech, by trade. I'd like to get my eyes back on some of your work so I can get a "refresher" on how to describe it to him again. If it means getting the camera off, we can schedule my "glancing" for another time though. So, I'm available from this minute on. (Evenings after tonight.) Sorry I didn't catch your call. Chris and I have been hard at it all damn day. It's the stuff we live for, so that's not a complaint by any means. If you need the rest, then get it and we'll talk tomorrow about getting together. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to OfTheSoul) posted 15-Sep-2003 12:58pm I'm up before 10; What a rarity. I think a night-owl curse has just been lifted. Tonight would probably be great. I had a great time. I almost forgot just how much i loved the woman. Her life is on an even keel now. It used to be chaos. Though she was the most severely ADD person I'd met, apparently she never knew such a thing existed, but has spent recent years overcoming it. Her apt. was red, and autumn green & orange. Now it has plenty of white, blue, yellow pink lavendar - different magic. We did tai chi like dances. She's lost half her weight, looks quite healthy. She has a couple decades on me. I needed the rest. I just slept 14 hours. |

| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 20-Sep-2003 11:44pm What is your schedule the rest of this weekend? Do you want to "finish up" on that there task? Anytime from now through tomorrow night is good for me. I totally missed your "tonight would probably be great" comment above. When was that? Last Monday, I think? Once again - sorry about that - but for it I'm going to let you name the time/place and I'll be there. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to OfTheSoul) posted 21-Sep-2003 2:42am There are four events going on tomorrow as is. Monday eve. looks free. I was trying to make it out to the beach to play some guitar but equipment setup took longer than anticipated (but now my rig's solar powered). I was considering just having someone shoot my picture there. If we can't get it together by next saturday, I think I'll just drop it off at your place (if you email me your address) then. Hopefully well get together though. |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 21-Sep-2003 7:35am I'm going to keep it open in case Monday evening still looks good by Monday evening. I'll shift things a bit to get out of work early (on time), but if it's not good for you by that evening, we can try to reach one another each day throughout the week. My week isn't incredibly heavy next week--just the beginning of it mostly, but I can deal with it. And yes--we have to get together! I have to see this computer you've built and--again--I'd like to see your artwork again, if you still have it nearby. I've got tomorrow open too, in case. Beach, guitar? Do you go to Venice Beach at sunset to play with that spontaneous bunch with the drums n' you-name-it-instruments? I've attended that a few times with a friend who loves to take his drum out there and beat away. It can be a pretty spiritual experience if you let it be, huh? (If you know what I'm talking about that is.) |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to OfTheSoul) posted 21-Sep-2003 6:28pm I've visited that circle, and considered bringing my guitar, but I felt an electric instrument would be out of place there, even if I play something more akin to oil drums and deep sea bubbles than screaming distortion. No, I'm just thinking to play on the strand, see if I can gather an audience and later either become a spiritual pulpit or economically self-sufficient. I might make it to a int'l yoga peace gathering or join the kucinich teleconference, but I might not do either and be aailable this evening. Either way, I'd still be free by 9pm. I slept 14 hours (beginning to suspect I have food allergies) and it's thrown me off kilter on todays plans. |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 21-Sep-2003 6:33pm So...nine pm might be a possibility then? I'm game! |

If you want to set up a time now, or if you want to let me know in the morning, whichever. I was thinking I might have the chance to bring Chris to meet you. I know he would flip at your original artwork. (That part will be dependent on the time, but--again--all day, anytime, your convenience--but I can't let another day slip passed...Dabbs will come here herself and 'beat the stuffing' out of me. Strangely enough (yet "of course"), I was thinking of submitting a blues song of my own (called "Too Far North") to Blues Lab today. I don't think I knew you are a fan of The Blues... It'll be a good time, can't wait for the tour! |
| OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 12-Oct-2003 6:13pm ARE YOU IN THE 310 area code or something? I'm not reaching you at the number you've left for me (at my work). | OfTheSoul | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 12-Oct-2003 9:14pm You must not have roused yet. Obviously, the 310 area code was the problem yesterday (how is it you have 310 and I'm 323?). I left a message some time after three, close to four I think. Your alarm must not have insisted...haha. No problem, though, if you're just waking up. I'm ready to meet when you are. If you aren't into "company", it's no problem either--if I can just quickly pick up the camera so Dabbs doesn't come kick my ass, ha! I said in my message you can call (and leave a message--ringer's off for Chris, who got back late from a shoot last night), or you can just respond to me here on SC. |
