| Cleo | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 1-Nov-2002 11:20pm Oh my gosh! Kristal! Are you going through some kind of transformation? I was not aware of this. |
| Cleo | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 1-Nov-2002 11:25pm Oh no! **shake her head** Don't tell me that your computer is down AGAIN!! Do you think that is REALLY is the modem that your son's friend gave him? You know it possibly be something else you know. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 1-Nov-2002 11:27pm Oh goodness, Yeah. I guess you missed out on all that. The personality I dropped years ago suddenly came back quite instantly, and now I've been integrating them, but as a guy. For a day or two, it was as if my life left off almost excatly where it left off years earlier, with no memomry of recent years. I have all of it to draw from now though. Most of the change comes to being more focused and down to earth, using my hands instead of psychic manipulations. It's like my spirit phase has given way to a soul phase. |
| Irene007 | (reply to Cleo) posted 2-Nov-2002 1:13am I'm waiting to hear from you, in the meantime; Jess and I are thinking about something... |

| autumnlight | (reply to Cleo) posted 3-Nov-2002 10:24am Hello! How are you? Long time no speak! I sent you a little mini parcel thing in about May. Did you get it?? How is your family? |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to Cleo) posted 4-Nov-2002 1:25pm I'm more inclined to think it's SOMETHING Mark did to the modem directly as I haven't noticed any new installations. As it looks now I'll be coming to the library for a long, long time. |

| Cleo | (reply to Irene007) posted 5-Nov-2002 1:40am I'm sorry Irene. I've been so VERY busy still. My girlfriend leaves in 2 days for Hawaii (November7th) Now my youngest daughter is ill with the flu (I think) In two days I'll be pretty much back to normal. **crosses fingers** I will get together with you then. **blows kisses** Aloha! |
| Cleo | (reply to autumnlight) posted 5-Nov-2002 1:48am **jumps up & down with joy** Hi Wicawillow!!! How are you? I've really missed you around here. Welcome back!! **Gives you a BIG ((((((HUG))))** *pouts* I never did receive that mini parcel. Darn! It must have gotten lost in the mail. Ever since the 9/11 thing they've been getting really careful. I sent Biggles an envelope with Yellow Pear tomato seeds & other vegie seed packets & she NEVER EVER received it. I ended up mailing her a whole new batch. Other than that, I've been quite busy the past few months. I have family & friends staying at my house. One day, I had as many as 15 family & friends spending 3 days & 2 nights at my home. It was very hectic to say the least. Whew! In 2 days I get to catch my breath a bit. But enough about me How about you? |
| Cleo | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 5-Nov-2002 1:54am Oh no!!! **hold her head** say it ain't so Kate! I'm inclined to think your right tho, about Mark doing something to the modem. What a fregin bummer! & It's cold now too! **hunts Mark down with her trusty magnum 45 for Kate** |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 5-Nov-2002 2:30am Thanks. I just got my ho'olaule'a photos back but there weren't any good photos this time. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to Cleo) posted 5-Nov-2002 2:31am I've had major mail delays lately too. |
| autumnlight | (reply to Cleo) posted 5-Nov-2002 1:21pm *hugs* I'm fine thanks. Sorry I've been away so long. I've been having lots to do also, visiting my dad and starting a new year at college. Grrrr. Annoyance that you did not get the parcel. My friend sent me a parcel from when she was stating is Disneyworld and it never got to me. Typical!! That's no problem though, cos I can just send you another. I'll make it an early Christmas one cos I'm too late for Halloween. And I'll make sure I don't delay sending it. I'm such a procrastinator!! I'm glad to hear that you are well. I love it when family and friends come to stay, but it's also nice to have your house back to yourself again!! |

| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 11-Mar-2003 8:24pm I've been to those places. I was born in Alhambra, spent 15 years in the so. cal beach towns like Redondo and Hermosa, then 17 years in santa cruz (beach and mountains), a couple years near SF, and another 5 in LA. |
| MssAmericat | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 12-Mar-2003 8:32pm I visited SF about a year ago for the first time and when driving on the Golden Gate I was shocked to find it's not as long as I had thought it would be. I don't know why I was thinking it was like miles and miles long |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 12-Mar-2003 11:44pm When I left for a bicycle camping trip, I ended up crossing it twice on my first day out. I broke my hand and stayed the night on a helpful stranger's boat, before heading out again the next morning. The area around there is quite pretty. |
| MssAmericat | posted 12-Mar-2003 11:54pm Yes, very lovely! and to see it on your bike would be even better than from the car view....Broke your hand, ouch |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 13-Mar-2003 4:45am Everyone was helpful. One fellew gave me money for a room and i never had to wait more than 15 minutes when I hitchhiked from WA to CA. I met quite a variety of shamans and other mystical teachers on the way. I never had to ask for a thing. Here are some photos of the trip. Jenner trip |

| MssAmericat | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 15-Mar-2003 6:41am Ok...well actually if I told you I didn't like her that would be a lie...and we mustn't have that now! |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 15-Mar-2003 7:08am Turns out the latest music preference I visited some minutes ago here is Barbara. Were you intending to be cross between Ms, Mrs, & Miss? |
| MssAmericat | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 15-Mar-2003 7:14am She has never been one of my fave but I do like her voice and think she has such marvelous range....Miss had already been chosen and for some reason I just don't care for Ms, I am married so not sure why I didn't go with Mrs. just my cat walked into the room one day and I started to sing to her "Here she comes, Miss Americat"...and I thought hmmm that would make a cute screen name. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 15-Mar-2003 8:00am Glad to hear an actual cat was involved. You've effectively kept your options as open as using ms. It's not fair for just one gender to necessarily advertise their marital status. Recent women don't even seem to get the 'ms' issue. Various aspects of equality have slid back to 60's status without people even recognising it's a problem anymore, mostly because it's become sublime propoganda and acceptance rather than blatant policy. |
| MssAmericat | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 15-Mar-2003 8:25am Do you ever not like a word because of the way it is pronounced? I think that is why I don't care for Ms. (Miz). As in Mr. I do think it is nice that a woman can now be a Ms./Mss. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 15-Mar-2003 9:00am I have to agree with you there. I never cared for the ring of 'mz' either. My goodness, i think i know way, i like 'z' words, but this one is short for mizery. 'Miss' (like not there yet) and 'miss is.. (insert other name here)', aren't helping autonomy either. |
| MssAmericat | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 15-Mar-2003 9:08am So tho Mss. sounds like Miss without the i it might work as Ms. does except, when spoken one would think of Miss, so assume your single...so, what I would propose is to just do away with Mrs. and Ms. altogether and just go with Mr. and Mss. Hey works for me! |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 15-Mar-2003 9:20am or we could have mt & mr for guys. I've been considering finding a pin that says 'single', like the chirps of those crickets still out of time with the contented masses. |
| MssAmericat | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 15-Mar-2003 9:36am Mt. your married, Mr. single or Mt. single and Mr. your married? |
| DeeDee17 | posted 5-Apr-2003 6:25pm Manitoba, Canada |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 5-Apr-2003 9:28pm Mt. would stand for Master (single) and Mr. for Mister (married). In case you're not familiar with the term, it was a bit sexist. The idea was that in the absence of the dad being home, the son, and not the mother was ideally in control of things. |
| MssAmericat | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 6-Apr-2003 3:44am Aww...Did it matter how young the son was to be considered man of the house?...I do know that young boys were called Master Williams etc...do you know what age they were considered Misters? |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 6-Apr-2003 1:53pm I had a birth congratulation addressed to Master Clemens, as did my son from a friend of mine. Perhaps they became Misters when they moved out out of the house or started business. I really don't know. |
