| Kristal_Rose | (reply to jekaba) posted 26-Oct-2002 6:03am My reality was like the Matrix or the Tempest or something. I had to make a recent decision to get more down to earth. My basic understanding is that there is nothing here but God - our thoughts, our bodies, the synchronistically directed karma that comes each of our ways, written by the same omniscient omnipotent farce that writes our thoughts. Even all time, space, and tier of dimension simultaneously coexist with the single point of this dream of God, and therefore the more we connect to it, the more we are free to travel to all places and thoughts within it. and by what are you about, I mean are you artistic, sharp witted, collect plush animals and put on late plays with them at drunken parties? What examples embody the flavor of your world-view? |

| Irene007 | (reply to Iseult) posted 27-Oct-2002 12:25am Beauty, eh? I don't know where this "oot" stuff is aboot! Seriously, I don't pronounce it like that at all. (sounds more like "gout") That reminds me of a guy from Toronto with a British accent, he corrected me when I said "route". I pronounce it like the French, I guess... He said that I shouldn't make it sound like "boot", but rather "trout"; "You don't say "troot" do you?" So I asked him to pronounce "Houston" for me... "Yowston, is it?" That shut him up!> |

| Irene007 | (reply to Cleo) posted 29-Oct-2002 7:18am *smooch* I was just thinking of you in the last couple of days!! Have you been working? Seems like you're not around as much... I was thinking of you because our Pookie is getting married, I was wondering if you could make something for me; A decoration to hang at the back of the reception table with his and her name. I was trying to think of a way we could do it with some sort of motif that would be appropriate for a wedding. I don't want it to be tacky and cliché like having bells or doves and such. Maybe just their names in a fancy script; Jessica & Garrett. Have any ideas? |

| Cleo | (reply to Irene007) posted 29-Oct-2002 3:29pm I've been quite busy the past month or so. My bestest friend in the whole wide world is visiting me from Hawaii. She & her 4 year old grand-daughter have been here since Sept 2nd. They will be leaving on November 7th. As for the decoration for your Pookie & his (soon to be) wife, I can do their name for you.............of course! Are you crazy?? I'd love to. I'd be honored!! **beaming with great joy & delite** What color would you prefer it to be in? As for wedding ideas......I may have to ponder that for a while,at the moment I'm drawing a blank. I have been unemployed since I left "Milgard Windows" last October. Wow! It's been a year already. Geeze.........where'd the time go to? At the present I'm collecting unemployment benefits......been collecting it since October of last year.I plan to go back sometime soon. Maybe next month. I don't know.*shrugs* I love staying home,I forgot how relaxing it can be. But,then again Xmas is right around the corner,so I ve been leaning toward going back to work after my friend goes back to Hawaii. How 'bout you? How have you been? |
| southernyankee | (reply to Cleo) posted 29-Oct-2002 4:48pm i don't know any recipies. my definition of cooking: shoving something in a microwave or an oven and set it for some time. i can't cook, all i know how to do is eat home LA cooking. |

| Irene007 | (reply to Cleo) posted 29-Oct-2002 6:58pm I've been busy as usual; I come to SC early in the morning and I'm always rushed!! Since I last wrote to you, we bought a piece of paradise to build on. It's keeping us busy with plans and ideas. There's a shack on the land, so we went all summer as campers - great fun! We locked it up for the winter last Sunday... I hope you had fun with your visitors! It's nice to see old, familiar faces - my sister came from Vancouver to visit us this summer. Her schedule was tight but she managed to work in one night to visit our "Chateau Shack" in the country and even stayed 2 nights because it was so relaxing. Drinking beer by the fire, listening to good old music, eating good food, sleeping in total quiet... (Gawd! I miss the place already!) BTW - Pookie is our daughter and Mat (or Tigger) is our son. Mat is just turning 18 next week and Pookie will be 20 in April. She is planning her wedding for next August - so we have time to decide what to do! She and Garrett are coming over for Mat's birthday this Friday and staying with us so we can leave early in the morning to go to the Ottawa area (that's where she wants to get married - much of his family is there as well as ours)...hmmm, only my brother and I are left here, where we did most of our growing up.... Funny, huh? We're going there to check out some potential sites for the wedding and the reception. The piece that I want you to do (give me a general quote - I won't hold you to it if it cost more than anticipated!) would be bigger than the "Booger" that you did. I'm thinking, oh... about 2 feet wide by 1 1/2" high. A heart is out of the question (too cliché), I'll come up with something and I'll e-mail you an illustration that you can work with. Since I've seen your work, I'll design with the medium that you use taken into consideration. I'll have a better idea of what I (or SHE) want(s) after we see the sites. I've changed my e-mail since I last spoke to you but I still have yours and I'll send you a note in a couple of weeks; when I have some kind of inspiration! Meanwhile, be good and if you can't, well have fun! (You say your friend has been with you since Sept. 2? Wow! She must be a really good one - you know what they say..."Friends are like fish. After 3 days, they start to stink!") |

| Cleo | (reply to Irene007) posted 29-Oct-2002 9:54pm Yeah! Well be sure to let me know what you come up so I have enough time to sculpt it for you (her). In the mean time please keep in touch as well. I miss hearing from you. This coming Friday, I'm going to rent a car so Debbie(that's my friend) David & I can drive up north to attend her daughters wedding. I'm hoping that David is feeling better by then.He hasn't been feeling well lately. Her daughter lives in Lompoc California. It's just before San Francisco & after Los Angeles. We drove there a few weeks ago, to drop her off there so she could spend time with her mom, sister, children & grandchildren. We should be back by Sunday afternoon. |
| Irene007 | (reply to Cleo) posted 29-Oct-2002 10:16pm Well, have fun on your trip "up North"! I hope David feels better (nothing serious, I hope!) While you're there, pick some brains and find out what Debbie's daughter is thinking of doing as a theme for her wedding! Up 'till now, the only definite is that Pookie (Jessica) wants gold fish bowls as table centers with water lilies (and of course, gold fish!) Talk, ask questions, get some ideas for me!! And, have fun! |
