Scary. But are they alone in the boat? That would make it easier.

don't have any expectations of a great movie...it's just about a rowing prodigy that heads to oxford in hopes of bumping into the girl of his dreams...more like a stalker movie * smile *

That was supposed to be my 'dad', not 'day' was one. Kayaks are done single or in partner teams. Even partners must learn synchronized uprighting techniques or drown the first time they take a spill on a rapid or fall. They damn well better both being trying to upright in the same direction.

I couldn't think of anything so I asked my mum and step dad.

Mum says I have a schizophrenic personality. One one side of my bedroom, there are walls of lyrics from rock groups and posters of wrestlers and rock bands. And my signed posters of SPIKE! The other side of my room is full of Piglet and Little Mermaid collectibles. She thinks it's strange.

My step dad says that it's interesting that I sleep in the day time and wake at night.

I think your decor is fairly typical. The sleep thing. I'd been doing that for the last twe years (to some extent all my life) and am battling it now. I've missed out on so much active physical & social life from waking up at sunset. The energy is so different. The nights fine if you just want to live in mind and spirit, but it's not great for being playful and energetic (your experience may differ). Without the sun, I start living on coffee, letting my fruit spoil, and just doing errands becomes a dilemna.
I thought it was great though during my highschool and newlywed partying years when I didn't sleep much.

I think my sleep thing has more to do with having the time to myself. The daytime is the time for college and work, and the night for homework and the net and other endeavours. In the night time, the computer is usually free, so I get up and download some songs and write in my diary and come on SC. At the present moment it is 3am and I've just finished a web design. I would not have got the chance to think without getting annoyed in the daytime. I probably won't go to bed, there's no point if I have to get up at 6 for college.

I agree with you about not being energetic and errands becoming dilemmas, but I prefer to live in the mind anyway * smile * And I'm drinking coffee as I type!

My free time back in early college was just after work at 3:30am which I spent on creative writing usually. Eventually though it can evolve into a sort of astral moon energy thing, and you lose touch with earthly life altogether. Even ones psychic time is their own when all the neighbors are sleeping.
