What region do you live in?

I want to know the region of the country that you live in. However, if you live somewhere where that isn't really an option (Example-Vatican City), then just tell me the country.

He said he wanted to know the "region of the 'country'" you live in which would be the East. If he asked what region of the world my country is located, I would say the West.

As much as my surveys get "nitpicked" in the qualification stage, you would think they would have caught this!

On the weekends, I go back home to a subarban town sometimes known as L-town. Its about 30-40 miles away from New Orleans.

i got to visit la pine and bend. bend was very cool, heyzeus and i and a couple of our friends spent a whole day at a waterfall in bend. it was an adventure to say the least.

I guess I am being stereotyped. I thought most people don't like stereotyping.

Dino, I answered the question. It asked for the region of whatever country I reside in. It did not ask for the country. I stated "East" and someone had a smarta$$ response, China? Then, did I realise that I misunderstood the question because it was worded incorrectly.

My questions get nitpicked to death when my surveys are clear but it seems others poorly written surveys make it through the qualification process with no problem.

I never said that America was the center of the world. Where did I say that? What I said went right over your head. You haven't stopped to understand it. What I interpreted the question to ask was... no matter what country you live in (Brazil, Egypt, whatever) what region of it do you live in. "East" is my answer. You just happed to be correct that I lived in the USA. If I happened to live on the East coast of Australia, again, my answer would have been simply "East." The question doesn't ask us to give the country unless we don't know what region we live in.

If you want to know the name of the country and what region of it do I live then I would say, "Eastern United States."

When you responded with "China" to my answer of "East" I thought that you must have been asking what region of the world because China is considered in the eastern region (I think).

I am sorry you feel we Americans are arrogant. I have heard many Americans say similiar things of people from England. Many feel you are also snooty. I am sure some Americans are arrogant and so are some from your country. I have never been to England, but my parents really enjoy visiting.
