When you take a shower, what part do you start washing first?

I usually start with chest/stomach, but if I'm planning to wash my hair I start shampooing first.

Hmm, the lower you go, the lower the people who do that.

Top to bottom makes it easier to make sure all the mint jelly rinses off.

Hands to be exact, then the arms, then neck and ears, and then I go down to the legs. It's pretty odd. Then I wash my face and hair, those are the last.

Hair and face, that way the filth from up there doesn't wash down onto the already clean rest of you.

Same way I wash a vehicle....from the top down...that way I don't get those ugly soap spots all over my body...and I never get atheletes head!!

uh.which ever part is dirtiest? (in case I run out of water-pressure mid shower). Usually my face and hair b/c they're not covered while I'm at work getting filthy.

I take the top-down approach to showering. However, I tend to wash my face, neck and back before my hair, as I prefer not to have (bar) soap be the last thing in my hair before rinsing (my hair goes down to my waist).

Hair first. Then left arm, right arm, chest, stomach, right leg, left leg - I wonder why I do the legs differently than the arms? anyway, etc. etc. etc.

I wash my hair first. Top-down from there, more or less.

Washing from the top down, getting wet is from the feet up.

I start at the top and work down. Isn't that the only sensible way to do it?

I start with the head so the rinsing process is more efficient, but I get the butt even before that so I can start feeling clean right away. The efficiency is critical when you haul your own water to a mountain cabin, and take quart showers.

I shampoo my hair first, then move onto underarms, upper torso and work downwards until I'm clean.
