Police proved (and defendant admitted) that the cocaine was in his car, but police couldn't prove that it was his or that he was selling it. He served time for possession, but was acquitted on dealing. My conclusion: courts move ridiculously slowly - it's a cumbersome, anachronistic system. They wouldn't let us take notes!
