| 38 | I have to agree with Oscar. I think the symptoms are misjudged too often. I personally know three children who at one point in their lives took Ritalin. All three were referred to the doctor upon the advice of their teachers. Of the three, in my opinion, only one received any benefit from the drug and the other two I suspect would have found greater benefit from having a more enthusiastic teacher who was willing to accept that children are individuals. I think what turns me off is that everyone who has claimed to have had a supernatural experience (present company excepted) I've judged in my own mind to have a penchant for melodrama.
