but only if I could know what I have experienced since then. Think of all the different ways to score! | If you could go back to high school and do it all over again would you?
Hell yes we should. Israel is the only other country in the world we can rely on. | Should The United States of America give military aid to Israel?
I am going to write in Ronald Wilson Reagan. Even with Alzheimer's he is still the best President this country has had since Lincoln. | Bush or Gore?
Brian, How many people are free as the result of his policies that were not free when he took office? He won the cold war and my kids don't have to go to bed every night worrying about a potential nuclear holocaust. His economic programs ( at least temporarily ) arrested the explosive growth of the federal government. More importantly, he appointed justices to the supreme court who ( in very general terms ), keep their nose out of my business. Perhaps you need big brother to function. I don't. | Bush or Gore?
Twister...*thinking this person is aptly named* AIDS??? Where is it written the federal government is responsible for solving any health problem...I mean providing for the general welfare is great, but it makes a lot more sense to date, abstain from sex and enjoy the benefits of sex within a monogomous marriage between two people who love one another. Then again, I guess we can shed any semblence of individual responsibility in our sexual nature and blame the president for not lessening the risk of our debauchery. Anyway, thanks to you and Brian for not disputing the facts I presented. Its encouraging to see the two of you making a real reach in this matter. | Bush or Gore?
Brian, There is no "button". Is this the best you can do when I lay out the facts? I felt you were more worthy when it comes to debate. | Bush or Gore?
twister...You do prattle on in endless directions...I suspect its not all totally unmeaningless, but your comments are so unfocused I think I'll save my reserves for something a little more meaningful. In closing, AIDS has been the most highly financed and researched disease in the history of mankind. Your emotional baggage notwithstanding, there are countless diseases which impact all Americans that don't receive the hysterical support of the federal government. Polio is but one example of a disease that was brought under control by private funding as opposed to federal money being spent. Whatsmore, the overwhelming majority of people in the USA with AIDS are not "innocent children", but male homosexuals, IV drug users, prostitutes and people with multiple high risk sex partners. Put another way, AIDSis unique in that the overwhelming numbers of people can avoid it through discretionary, mature judgement. I guess its better to blame the government than accept that truth. BTW, if you are all that interested in innocent children dying from diseases, there is a litany of other diseases that kill children in larger numbers than AIDS, and they receive a mere fraction of the money devoted to the treatment of AIDS. Your remarks about my comments to others are amusing. Are you the communication police? | Bush or Gore?
Nothing...I'd be dead | If you were to die right now, what would you miss the most?
My kids..You can have the rest | If you were to die right now, what would you miss the most?
