Cincinnati is right across the river from Kentucky. That's probably enough said right there... but I'll continue  Over the past 10 years or so, it has become popular for people from the city to move to KY... McMansion-type neighborhoods have sprung up all over N. KY... and people move there for the country and commute to the city. It has caused a strange mix there.... with these neighborhoods being right in the middle of areas that used to have just a few hillbilly houses. Also, a lot of country people looking to come to the big city end up here in Cincy. The whole town is full of them. Citified country people. Certain areas are packed with them. My SO is a KY guy.... but he's not a hillbilly... He spent a lot of his childhood here in the city. Off subject, but I am SOOO nervous right now and need to say it out loud.... I'm nervous!!! I've been getting harrassed by my immediate supervisor and her little minion for over two years now about my frequent urination. I've decided to meet with HR and make a formal complaint. My appointment is at 11:30 today. I'm freaking out. I'm dressing nice (which is out of character), and I'm going to slide in there quickly so I can avoid seeing my SUP or the minion... and having them ask me why I'm there on my off day. I've gathered as much information as I can, and typed it all up.. so that I don't forget to mention anything. I expect some retaliation once they get in trouble for their behavior... and since the Lay-off announcement, the severence package has been on the table for me to accept whenever I want it. Unfortunately (and I plan on telling the HR person this), I think I will have to take the severence almost immediately after making the complaint. Fudge, I'm so nervous. I need a pill. Or a doobie.
