I like Alice, but Dogbert is the best. I wish he'd get back to Dogbert story lines and get off the cubicle humor, but it seems that cubicle humor moves product.Who's your favorite Dilbert character (going off the comic strip, not the cartoon series)?
I have many: The Beastie Boys. South Park. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. Green Day. I don't want to think of more, but I'm sure they're there.Do you have a "guilty" pleasure that's only guilty in your mind?
lara: Well, the Beastie Boys are an odd one. I don't currently feel guilty about liking them, but it took me a long time to get here. When they started, I HATED them. When I started to like them, I was really worried that I'd had some kind of stroke or something. I was reassured when I heard an unfamiliar Beasties song that I hated--I thought it represented an unfortunate return to their snotty, musically inept earlier days--and found out that it was from one of their first albums. So I think that it's not so much that I've changed, although I clearly have, but that they've grown up. (As for South Park, I love the subversiveness and heterodoxy of it, but I have a real problem with all the potty humor.)Do you have a "guilty" pleasure that's only guilty in your mind?

I've given the long version of my opinion of stereotypes before. Briefly, many stereotypes have some kind of nugget of truth in them, and they can be useful generalizations as long as one remembers that they are stereotypes and does not assume that they will apply to any individual member of the relevant group. Is a positive stereotype, still a bad thing?
Hey, not bad; I was right except for moving Australia up two places, and I agree with the average of everyone's rankings. I think we assume it must be bigger than it is because it's a continent.

Handle: There's no "p" in "dogy".
