4891what do you mean by "recent"? the past month? These movies were around for over a decade now, which is when I really started watching movies, so no, I havent even noticed the increase.

besides, there were always scares like this since the beginning of time. Hey, at least I didn't live during most of the Cold War years. And all those biblical prophacies back when people were all religious. besides, we've (at least I have) allready been though a few hurricanes, so I dont really fear them that much.
Has the recent trend for films about natural disasters made you think about the real possibility of such an event?
4892naw, I am probabbly too lazy to even bother.Have you ever considered emigrating?
4893I havent done that yet, but I probabbly would let them know. they've probabbly got opinion surveys by now anyway, so you dont even have to do that crap in person.

for some reason, I have a picture in my mind of the guys from clerks not giving a crap about my 'outrage.'

4894I havent got a chance to see either.

oh wait, I take that back, I did have a chance to see Annie Hall, but I ended up just not seeing it. Probabbly a bad move on my part.
What does the 1976 horror film The Sentinel have in common with the 1977 Woody Allen comedy Annie Hall?
4895oh man, I lost count how many times that had happened to me at elementry school. worse, back then, you had to have all your test papers signed and returned the next day. I hated that crap. I usually found a way to catch my mom when she was drinking her coffee or something "hey, I need this thing signed over here". Once you get to high school, you tend to gain a lot more privacy and then you even get more once you get to college. Man, growing up sure has its advantages. If you were a student and you got a bad grade at school, how would you answer when you are asked by your parents for your grade?
4896> ......but the
> alternative (lying) ends up being much worse.

I am not too sure about that.
If you were a student and you got a bad grade at school, how would you answer when you are asked by your parents for your grade?
4897or the situation and the consequencesIf you were a student and you got a bad grade at school, how would you answer when you are asked by your parents for your grade?
4898no, Ive never got a chance to see that movie. I make a note of it.If you were a student and you got a bad grade at school, how would you answer when you are asked by your parents for your grade?
4899great, bring up the good old barter system.

I'd try to barter with the customer and bring the price up. Actually, this situation happens to me all the time. Well, the discount is not anywhere in the 50% area, but its usually like in the 20%. What happens is that the customers ask me to bring down the price some, and I usually offer to bring it down a bit by 5-10%. When they ask for more, like 15-20%, I give them an offer of 12-15% and they usually take it. If they still keep on haggling and the price they ask is waaaayy to low, I call the boss about it, that way its not on me.
Suppose you are a salesperson, and you’re asked by a customer to make an unreasonable discount. What would you do? You...
4900I never done this before. If I did, I would probabbly try to sneak it in the conversation somewhere, and go into great details once he asks me why. When asking a friend to lend you a lot of money you...
