41By bringing out non-partisan wackjobs on stage, so that everyone can laugh at them. Short of tragic events like 9/11 or a president's assassination, its the best way.

Moderate political division is normal and healthy, as long as people are debating actual issues instead of fake outrage issues.
How can the polarized political division in the USA be healed?
42Ugly people because they outnumber the beautiful people. That, and also ugly people (aka, people of Walmart) have access to cheap baseball bats, chain saws, and even guns and ammunition. Good luck buying these items from the shops that beautiful people get their stuff from. The Ugly People vs. the Beautiful People
43veryIf WW2 didn't happen, how different do you think our world would be?
44Kind of indifferent, since if the government wants to spend more money on nuclear and conventional weapons, all it has to do is get the fed to print more money. Or if the government (and its usually the US government that steps up for some reason) wants to feed homeless people around the world, all it has to do is get the fed to print more money. Arguing how much the government should spend on this and that is kind of pointless.

Also, the real reason why children are starving in 3rd world countries is because brutal dictators are keeping food from them, not because there's an actual food shortage. To help those children, a stealth bomber or two can always come in handy.

btw -- Little know fact: food is cheap, and actually has gotten cheaper over time. A lot of poor people in 3rd world countries are actually getting fat in some countries. Obesity has recently become a quickly growing problem in the 3rd world.
How do the following statistics make you feel?
45I would say just be lucky you don't live in Louisiana. Apparently this state still has the Napoleonic Code (sort of) on its books, so you're never really free once you're divorced. And I especially wouldn't recommend selling/buying properties, since that can potentially be a real pain with a difficult ex.

I agree though, the OP shouldn't care what the ex's intentions are, and worry more about not ending up with a second divorce.
Would Like Some Female Feedback On This.
46No. Ignoring the "offensivness" part of it, there's also the pragmatic problem. If you glorify serial killers on stamps, that will encourage crazy people to actually take up serial killing; as opposed to just running naked across the field during sporting events.

Its sort of all the media hype after Columbine. That only encourages copy cats, because ALL attention is good attention, even bad attention. Now, putting someone up on a postage stamp usually qualifes as "good attention", even glorifing them. Which is even worse than giving them bad attention--- somehow.
Would it be OK for your government to create postage stamps that feature serial killers?
47I haven't even thought of the irony angle. I love irony as much as the next guy. However, I think giving ANY attention to serial killers, good or bad, can potentially be a bad thing.

Or think of it this way. Imagine if everyone all of the sudden starts wearing trench coats right after Columbine. It may be ironic, but to the garden variety nut job, the distinction between bad attention and good attention is lost on them.

48"There isn't no cat food in the cabinet".........

Actually, I think it would be easier to say "There is no cat food in the cabinet". Thats one syllable less.

"There isn't any cat food in the cabinet" would be about a half a syllable harder though.

Its actually "lazier" to NOT use the double negatives most of the time.

49Mostly getting a day or two off from work, or 1 to 3 weeks off from school if you're a student or work for a university.

Its also a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, hence why they call it Christmas. Its not even relevant if you believe in the whole bible story or not (I don't), you're still celebrating the story if your celebrating Christmas.
Christmas is.about
50Speed up, because I don't want the idiot behind me slamming me from behind. When you see the "amber" at a traffic signal is your first impulse to speed up or slow down?
