| 33 | Well, its true that babies are selfish by default, and learn morals by their environment (the good and the bad) as time goes along. Its kind of hard to argue with that.
The spin happens by conflating "amoral" with "immoral". You learn how to be moral by your environment, eg: don't steal, don't rape, don't kill the innocent, etc. Animals and new born babies by default will steal and cheat every chance they get (save for fear of getting caught). You also learn how to be immoral if your parents are say, Islamic wackjobs and want you to strap explosives on you.
