You also seem to be conflating "normal" (standard, common) with "natural" (not an artifact of civilization). I think part of the confusion in this discussion comes from some people (including me) using "normal" to describe only the most common sort of people, even though it's normal (common, expected) for a certain portion of the population to fall outside that range. It's neither normal nor natural to have only normal people. Now I've seen the word "normal" too much and it's ceased to be a word.
