Um, anon #2, burning down abortion clinics will likely result in people being killed. You obviously don't care about the mothers, but you certainly wouldn't want to kill poor innocent firefighters or fetuses. | If you were the leader of your country, what would be the first change you'd make, and why?
Mmmm, how are you going to get all the firefighters out? | If you were the leader of your country, what would be the first change you'd make, and why?
And as leader of this country, are you also going to wave a magic wand and ensure that nothing else catches fire when the abortion clinics burn? Do you have a special fire repellent with which you're going to spray the surrounding flora and other buildings? | If you were the leader of your country, what would be the first change you'd make, and why?

I guess we're talking about African-Americans in the US.... When will we Caucasians progress? Where is our "Caucasian History month", our special honorary Caucasian postage stamp, or our National Association for the Advancement of Caucasian People? | In your opinion, how much progress have we made in the civil rights movement since Dr. Martin Luther King’s death in 1968?
I would have agreed with you a few decades ago. At this point, it's over-compensation. Blacks make up 17% of the population, yet there is often outcry that they are "under-represented" when they make up 17% of a workforce, a school, etc. I also think that black history and accomplishments should be incorporated fully into mainstream education and consciousness, not separated out as special. BTW, I also believe women's accomplishments should be seen as accomplishments, period, at this point in history -- to do otherwise actually perpetuates "ism"s. | In your opinion, how much progress have we made in the civil rights movement since Dr. Martin Luther King’s death in 1968?
Hmmm... really? I thought SC existed as far back as when bill was in college. | Were you aware that Survey Central was created February 1997 and this month is its birthday?
