| 241 | I always try to read the book first, but it takes longer. The movie's usually over by the time I get to chapter four. -- Seriously, though. It depends. DUNE should probably be SEEn first, then read. Most people who did the opposite HATED the movie, but I loved both. I got the visual mood by watching the movie, and got the details by reading the book. For most film adaptations, however, they stray so far from the book as to not be related anymore (Blade Runner, Starship Troopers.) DON'T GO SEE "Bram Stoker's Dracula" if you've EVER read Dracula! -- (I notice Dolemite didn't answer yet, I guess because it requires the skill to read, and not just masturbate!) | Which do you usually do, read the book and then go see the movie, or visa-versa?
