| 126 | The birth of Charlotte Penelope Huxter. My first and so far only daughter. Hands down. Since it was a Caesarian birth, I was the first of us to hold her, and that was incredible. Actually, first hearing her voice before even seeing her was the MOST magical part about it. Other things like being just a few feet from a twenty-foot-diameter hole in the harbour ice where three whales had to come up to breathe, or being in a boat surrounded by thousands of flying and swimming puffins with whales less than thirty feet away, all pale in comparison to that birth experience.
