The cable channel TNT is going to show a movie about the American civil rights movement called "Freedom Song" on Feb 27 at 7pm Eastern, US time. (I don't know anything about TNT's national or international reach) In this movie, Stan Shaw plays a character called Archie Mullen, who represents the real person Chuck McDew. I know Chuck. He showed me this movie a few weeks ago. He helped write the script, its all true. Jeanne, and others, I encourage you to watch the movie if you can. Make it another data point in your list of things you have seen on TV. Take note of the race of the criminals. | 62 | I worked in pharmaceuticals for a while and learned that the rules that govern drug research on animals are very very very strict. Many people who think that testing new medicines on animals is cruel don't understand how the research is actually done. Also, I disapprove of animal rights activists targeting employees and property of companies that do animal testing.
