While we are at it, lets prevent habitual speeders from driving, and habitual litterers from buying paper products. This is pretty crazy, and I think it puts an huge amount of power in places it shouldn't be. | Should police distribute lists of habitual drunks to prevent them from being served?
On a castle wall in france. A preserved (glass plate over it) series of scratchings that a tour pamphlet claimed was "graffiti" scratched into the wall by crusade-era soldiers. It supposedly is all about God, which i thought was really funny for graffiti. | What's the best graffiti you have seen?
Croatia, Ireland, France. In order of how much I enjoyed the visit. | Which countries in Europe have you visited?
Since it was raining, we couldn't go rock climbing. Because of that, I was really bummed. So we went climbing in a gym instead. Which mostly made up for it. | Overall, did you have a good Easter?
I don't think that the victim should select the punishment, but I do think that the victim should be protected much more. There is a huge tendency in american society to blame the victim, and for the courts to make the victim prove that s/he didn't ask for it. I think that the stigma should be squashed, and then it should be treated somewhat more harshly than other physical attack style crimes. | What should the penalty for rape be?
Not much for anything personal. It was kind of cool to see how much shipping of very hazardous chemicals cost when I was working in a chem lab. The interesting thing is that the shipping cost is all hazard cost. After a certain hazard level, you can't put the stuff on a plane. | What is the most you've ever paid to have one package or item delivered?
Avo: I will pass on your compliment to their owner. The ferrets are named Jehovah and grep. (unix users tend to find grep a very amusing ferret name) They are in fact the biggest troublemakers I have met in a while. | What is the most interesting thing you have ever seen catch on fire?
Wow. Today we pulled out the crispy parts, turned it on, connected through a serial line, used a different ethernet port. A little reconfiguring and shazzam! We pulled stuff off the hard drive. I am highly impressed, the motherboard is rather scorched. | What is the most interesting thing you have ever seen catch on fire?
I frequently forget my middle name. | What letter does your middle name start with?
Maybe parts of it. But most of the parts that might be interesting enough to make a movie or book about are things I don't want to share with the general public | Do you think your life is interesting enough to make a movie, TV show, book, or other work of art about?
