| 11 | This is a hard question to answer for me. I would love to donate my ovum, if they pass muster. My only concern would be ensuring that the child that was created was in a loving, nurturing home. I couldn't bear to discover that one of my children was neglected or abused in any way...I grew up next door to a couple that spent thousands of dollars trying to have a child. They finally decided to adopt. They received this beautiful little boy. Soon after that, the couple divorced, "mom" retained custody but never really cared for him. This beautiful little boy grew up in a filthy home with a scatter-brained mother. (My parents reported her to the State and she was made to clean up her home but it didn't last and the State never really cared..) He died when he was only 17 of a drug overdose.
