| 51 | Even though I hate her and her acting, I have ended up seeing a bunch of her movies because those I was with wanted to, including Mystic Pizza, Sleeping With the Enemy, Pretty Woman, and yes, Erin Brockovich. She certainly conveyed a strong character in Erin Brockovich, but I don't think it was acting. I think she was just expressing her dogy self, the same self as evidenced in interview clips I have seen of her. In the other movies I have seen of her, there doesn't seem to be any there there, if you know what I mean. She's hollow and seems to allow people to project what they will onto her. I wouldn't bother hating her if I hadn't had to experience so much of her. She seems so popular that it's hard to avoid. And I don't normally judge actors by their physical attractiveness. I'm just tired of hearing how pretty she is. She's just not.
