I think when people extend it to proselytizing about what everyone else should do, it becomes less so, and even less so when people actually try to inflict suffering on others as a supposed way of protesting suffering (???). Nobody lives a perfect life. Before those PETA people take such extreme measures, they should take a look at all the things they do that contribute to animal suffering and death, like what about all that air pollution they cause by driving their cars to rallies?
