Any court appearance. 1) I was with my SO waiting for his case to be called, and because his last name began with a "W" he was always last. This dude was there for drunk driving and had a tee shirt on featuring some alcohol related subject. The judge took immediate offense and ordered the case continued to a later date and instructed the guy to never come before his court again wearing a tee shirt with an alcohol theme. 2) My friend was before a judge to have a disturbing the peace charge struck from his record. Much earlier in the day he'd had a few beers. Well, maybe more than a few. When he got before the judge, maybe 3 hours later, the court clerk immediately smelled the alcohol on his breath and passed a note to the judge. He got raked over the coals but got the charge dropped anyway. The judge sure gave his ass a pass that day. My advice: never drink the day of your court date and wear appropriate clothing. | Can you think of an activity that cannot be improved by the consumption of beer? |
| 40 | I played Ultima Online for almost 7 years. I couldn't afford the monthly fees ($15/month per account) any more so sold both my accounts to a friend who was there with me from the get go. I love UO.
Now, my best friend/soulmate is buying me Guild Wars. (He's also the one who got me started on UO.) It is another online role playing game but after you buy the disk, there are no monthly fees.
