| 58 | I kind of thought I had it better than most too...until I met someone who I'm actually compatible with. Now that makes it sound like I left my husband for another man, which isn't true. I dunno. I realized all that was lacking in my life, that the challenges we were having were not in the realm of acceptable, stuff like that. We've been separated for about eight months now, on our way to divorce, but things are amicable between us. And yes, my best friend is now my boyfriend, despite our best efforts to deny romantic feelings for one another. I'm a big crazy mess, but a happy and hopeful one, so I can't ask for more than that!
I'm so glad to hear you've been healthy. I still get a fluttery stomach when I think of what you went through. Congrats on getting off your diabetes medicine. I'm woefully under informed about diabetes as a whole. Is it sugar that you have to avoid? I just saw Mary's pic on your profile.
