I need lots of them, 'cause my music roams around a lot. My goal for a while has been to write music that makes people who listen to it sway like underwater plants. I've done this a bit, so the more tranquil images, above, would count. You could do the Koyaanisqaatsi thing, too, though, and have hyper-accelerated cityscapes and things backed with very tranquil throbbing music, except that it's been done to death. So, I don't know. Something liek that, anyway. How about lying down in a zen garden having ripples raked around me? That sounds pleasant... | If you were the lead singer in a MTV video, you'd be:
Yeah, sure. It'd be kind of boring, since I spend so much of my time doing things that require electronics, but I even have a mouth-blowing-powered keyboard instrument, so I could keep doing musicky stuff. And I can read just as well by candlelight as light bulb. And I have lots of blankets (I have oil heat anyway). It wouldn't be too bad, just annoying and kind of freaky for a while. I'd probably gather some books and wandering around making fun of people having fits about it. *** Truss: you could share my fire. 8) | If the power went out tomorrow, and NEVER came back on, could you survive? (Feel free to elaborate.)
We need space to give us hope. Once we have that, the rest follows. (Isn't that cheesy? But I believe that if we can look beyond our fairly petty problems and continue to explore our world, the rest will follow.) And go read some Allen Steele, if you haven't. 8) | Mankind should make this kind of investment in space-travel:
Because otherwise I'd feel bad, and because it would be wrong. But my definitions of "good" and "evil" are pretty flexible. I think we all do what we consider to be good, whether other people think so or not. | I do good instead of evil because...
I eat breakfast more regularly during the week, since during the week I tend not to stay in bed until noon and just give the whole morning thing a miss. During the week, I usually have a muffin or something around 9 or 10. If I skip it, I get hungry around noon (otherwise it's 2 or 3, or I forget entirely) and am forced to eat lunch then. I'd rather eat a late lunch... | How often do you eat breakfast?
I picked math, because while we had one of the best English programs around, our mathematical education was handicapped by Stayon's combination Math and Coaching department, where students in lots of sports got priority. | Which subject is most inadequately taught?
Yeah, I know where all of these are. | Geography.... Without checking do you know where the following are?
Okay, here I thought I was pretty bad, but now I feel better, since I didn't have to check very much. | Finances. Which of the following has happened to you?
Jer cut my hair last. I think that was something like 4 years ago... Since then, it seems to have stopped growing at somewhere around shoulder-blade length. I should probably get it trimmed at some point, but I don't really care that much. And, uh, wimmin dig it. | HAIR!
My brother broke his arm, but not I. | Broken bones:
