31The question is unanswerable as the hypothetical situation is impossible. If everything I say is a lie, am I telling the truth when I say I'm lying?
32U2
Pink Floyd
Blondie

Not sure that Blondie really count as "rock", but who cares.
Who are your top 3 favorite rock bands of all time, in order of preference?
33Might be. So what if I am?Are you good at arguing?
34No, I'm not afraid of flying and that hasn't changed. However, I'm less likely to fly in the immediate future than I would have been, because I don't want to have to put up with all the extra restrictions.Has your fear of flying changed?
35Ok, first clue. Well, not much of a clue, but maybe a hint. As can be seen from the image, it's a coastal city facing east. The water is the sea, not a lake, which might help narrow it down a bit * smile * Where is this?
36For the next challenge, I may rotate the image or do something sneaky with it * smile * Where is this?
37Arctic and Sahara are non-starters - the temperature would be fatal even if the polar bears or scorpions didn't finish me off.

The plains might be an option, but it sounds a little exposed and I might have trouble finding any source of food or shelter.

The island sounds attractive, on the face of it, but the reality is that most uninhabited islands are uninhabited because they're uninhabitable. The most common reason is a lack of fresh water - humans can't survive very long without it. It would need to be a fairly large island to have a reliable enough source of water to sustain human life.

So that leaves the forest, which is probably the best for a number of reasons. It has shelter, and plenty of materials (wood, etc) to make a hide or something if necessary. Wood also burns well, so I can light a fire for cooking, warmth, protection or as a signal. Forests need water, so there's a good chance of finding a freshwater stream that I can drink from. And forests are home to lots of plants and animals that I can use for food, if necessary. The main disadvantage of the forest is that it makes it a lot harder for rescuers to find me, and it would be harder for me to maintain a constant course if I decide to try and trek my way towards civilisation. But, overall, I think it would be the best option.
Where would you rather be stranded?
38I don't have any particular favourite underwear. It varies in colour, although shades of grey and blue seem to be the most common. What's the color of your most preferable underwear?
39I assume by "colonies" that you mean places which were annexed and then governed by Germany, in much the same way that America and India were colonies of the UK. If so, then there were several African countries which were German colonies. East Africa was one, and Tanzania was another. That's all I can remember offhand, but I'm sure there were others. Can you name any former German colonies?
40Speaking as a non-American, this is one of the things that I find utterly incomprehensible about America. A flag is a symbol, nothing more, nothing less. Like any other symbol, it can be manipulated to express approval or disapproval. The idea that a flag has some intrinsic property that makes it "desecration" if you abuse it is just bizarre.

Obviously, if you value a symbol then someone visibly damaging that symbol is likely to be insulting to you. That's the same whether it's a national flag, a religious symbol, or even the maker's badge on your preferred brand of car. You can argue, if you want (and I'd probably agree, up to a point) that it's disrespectful and impolite to deliberately abuse the symbols of other people's beliefs and identities. But going beyond that, and wanting legal protection for a symbol, as if it deserves the same protection as the thing it symbolises, is so utterly stupid as to be beyond belief. That's especially true when all you're talking about is a coloured piece of cloth.
How do you feel about this proposed, flag-related United States Constitution amendment?
