| 20 | You don't ever write the sermon on Sunday. It takes a whole week to write the sermon and to know it well enough to present it. And they do a lot more during the week. Churches tend to have an open door policy so anybody can walk into the church at anytime..(well, except at night when everyone's gone home)..I've been there during the summer at awkward times of day and seen people (homeless or poor) ask for help. They also make calls to people in the church..amongst other things. The pastor does a lot. I wouldn't have thought it was that envolved either but it is.
