| 47 | I've met three men who have married mature women, and are still married. I had a former neighbor, a 37 year old woman, her husband was 23 years old. They are still married 30 years later. I again knew a 22 year old married to a 34 year old woman, still married. Another one I met in a class that at the time I met him was 44 years old, his wife 71 years old, they had been married over 20 years. He said he loved his wife very much, and never looked at another woman. I, personally, could not, or would not be interested in a younger man, I guess I'm too practical. Why invite problems? I believe when there are big age differences, there is an esteem problem in the man/woman, that they are seeking a parent figure in some way, or a child figure. | Is it wrong to assume that men who typically go for slightly older (you could also say more mature) women have "mother issues?" |
