| 11 | I wear my wedding ring almost all the time. I hate it when I leave it on the counter at home and then later in the day have a panic attack when I notice it's not on my finger. My husband generally leaves his on, except when he's doing dishes or working in computer chasis. Before we were married, we had a discussion about his wearing his ring. I had initially thought it was really important to me that he wear it. He hates jewelry on him, and was worried about being able to deal with having a ring on all the time. We agreed that we'd buy him a ring, and that he'd try wearing it for a few weeks. I realized that I'd be ok if he didn't wear it, if it drove him nuts. After two years now, he wears it almost all the time, and gets unhappy with himself when he leaves it on the kitchen counter and goes to work without it. Our rings match BTW. Mine *almost* nests inside of his. That would have been neat. Jody: I fidget with my ring constantly. I don't actually spin it on the table (that bugs me too, for some reason) but I do play with it, and put it on different fingers. I really don't think this is a physical manifestation of disdain for my marriage though, I just like to fidget with things. | Wedding rings.... |

| 13 | Dead disk platters make fun around-the-computer-toys. I used to have a small dish of (iradiated) pot seeds next to my monitor that I used as a sort of people gauge. It entertained me to see who recognized them for what they were & who then said anything about them. A copy of the Fairy Queen of Elfland (has a nice beefcake guy w/ wings on the cover).
