| 5052 | 22 bags!! that reminds me of the time i was still pregnant w/ noah, from the time of this event to the time of his birth was about 2 weeks, we would visit the food pantry which was 13 blocks away or so..but it was very very hot that day, me being very preggo, carried all of the goodies they gave us w/ my hands, mind you that they gave mostly canned foods...wow is all i can say..i pulled stuff off like that after the child was born as well, i would go to the food pantry while "wearing" my kid, and since we had an extra being in our family, they would give us even more cans...glad that i don't have to do that anymore 160 lbs.of gear...amazing i tell ya...i can get a visual of that event..makes me smile.. i too would like to make gatherings a habit as well..now that we live "near" my folks we'll be able to have a couple of babysitting ops  anyhow...keep on painting my friend! | What kind of music do you hear most often blaring out of cars? |
| 5053 | i really do understand that...i personally had gotten turned off of art for i was frustrated that i couldn't find a medium i really enjoyed..had played w/ oils and acrylics in highschool, but never "borrowed" any of those paints to bring home..only cool tubed watercolors and various pencils and markers and such..anyhow..watercolors weren't forgiving enough for me or bold enough, and colored pencils are fine, but not for what i always envisioning..rediscovered acrylics and i too had forgotten how free it feels to me it feels even smoother than water almost silky. when i rediscovered it' it gave me the feeling as if i had just come across my favorite little stuffed friend i had as a child, just plain ole it felt good. ah...i see that it runs in the family..what a treasure to be using. i have a really old set of pastels that were my great-gramma's i use them on ocassion..i like that medium as well although i haven't in a while..just hung a H2O color painting by her today that i just recently aquired..i guess "something" runs in my fam as well | What kind of music do you hear most often blaring out of cars? |
