| 1387 | No, but they do to a former roommate of mine. She was quite good at remembering numbers and apparently the way she did it was to remember color patterns (why that would be easier than remembering number patterns, I don't know) and associating colors with the numbers. The strange thing was that, like this survey question, she expressed as "numbers have colors", not "I have associated colors with numbers". So apparently the connection was not something she consciously produced. I find it all pretty strange and fascinating. | Do you think letters and numbers have colors? |

| 1390 | I only did it a couple of times. My roommate, however, fell asleep each and every day in our morning Analysis of Algorithms class (with Stan Selkow, I believe). We'd sit together at a table in the back of the room and he'd always bring a coke to try to keep himself awake. About halfway through the class I'd see his head nodding, and he'd soon be asleep.
