| 13 | I think every introvert is affected by this to some extent. Two possible causes: 1) over-sensitivity to others causes a 'shell' to form as a method of defense, or 2) love (including brotherly) can only be felt for those part of an introvert's inner landscape. once exposure to a person drops below a certain level, they are no longer part of the rich inner life of an introvert. Frequent exposure can bring a person back into the circle.
